Veterinary College is located in Hebbal, Bangalore and established in 1958. It is affiliated to Karnataka Veterinary, Animal and Fisheries Sciences University, Bidar (KVAFSU).

The admissions are offered in B.V.Sc & AH, M.V.Sc and Ph.D programs at Veterinary College. There are 17 and 10 specialisations in the post graduate and doctoral programmes respectively.

Admissions to the post graduate and doctoral programmes are based on written tests conducted by KVAFSU and on the basis of merit or previous qualifying examination.

Selection Criteria

The weightage of marks that is used to select the students depends on various factors.

The aggregate in their Bachelor’s holds a weightage of 50.0.
The written test carries a weightage of 40.0.
Due weightage is also given to those students who have:
- Medals in academics, sports and cultural activities (3.0),
- Passed ICAR/JRF examinations (3.0),
- Research publications (2.0)
- Students who are Physically handicapped / Anglo-Indians / Scouts & Guides / Children of Ex-Servicemen / Defense personnel (2.0).

" A brief introductory to veterinary College, Hebbal"

Admission:

For the eligibility of the course one has to complete puc from cbse or state board preferably Karnataka state board and the person has to apply to the kcet examination through online mode . The application form details are mentioned in the kea.kar.nic.in website which is the official website of the Karnataka examination cell .The application form will be available a month or 2 before the board examination . The students who are not abled to ear the board examination there results will be withhold and after the compartment examination and clearing of the examination there results will be announced. Candidates from Karnataka. General merit, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B --Rs.500/- SC, ST, CAT-1 --Rs.250/- .Female candidates of Karnataka --Rs.250/-. Candidates outside Karnataka -- Rs.750/- . Reservation for special category arekannada medium , Hyderabad Karnataka, scouts and guides and,ncc , ex defence and sc &st ,obc ,rural quota are general reservations . For getting in our college the eligibility criteria is that the student have to clear his or her class 10+2 with 50% or more score. Then he or she has to fill the form for entrance exam of AIPVT, if theg cleared that then they get admission in our college.

I got selected on the basis of my NEET score and this is the main eligibility criteria also the student must have passed 10+2 with 50%+.The admission process is not much complicated.There is no interview but they release merit list of selected candidates.

I applied in the college through online mode of application. The college now accept the NEET scores on the basis of which they release the merit list and the selection process is based only on that list.I have already decided to select this collegeas this is one of the good colleges in Karnataka for doing bvsc and AH.

Admission:

Our course admission cut-off was 50 percent marks in 12th and high scores in KCET entrance exams. The procedure was quite simple and wasn't very time-consuming. You can find the application from the college and online.

Admission:

I got admission in the colleges based on my NEET UG scorecard. After the results were declared, I applied go the college online. The other eligibilty criteria was minimum 50% marks in 10+2 with biology, chemistry and physics as subjects.
