The degree program includes a compulsory 12-month internship, divided into various sectors such as polyclinics, diagnostic centers, goat farms, poultry slaughterhouses, and zoos. Internships are spread across Maharashtra and other parts of India, offering a stipend of approximately INR 3,000 per month, with some placements in Mumbai and remote areas providing around INR 15,000 monthly.
Despite no formal campus placements, graduates have opportunities in government services, private companies, dairy and poultry farms, pharma companies, and private clinics. The program focuses on practical training, preparing students to start their clinics or work in hospitals, with some firms recruiting freshers for roles in the veterinary and medical sectors.
