The course, accommodating 180 students, is led by one faculty member using audio-visual tools and screens to aid learning. Students undergo two internal exams and a preliminary test before the university exams. After 4.5 years, or nine semesters, students qualify for internships at primary health centers and Shri Vinoba Bhave Civil Hospital. Graduates can work as medical officers in Dadra Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu. Each student is guaranteed an internship with a stipend of 20,000 INR.
The college has not yet seen its inaugural batch complete internships, but all students will intern at the affiliated hospital. A village adoption program is part of the curriculum, emphasizing care for the underprivileged. The annual MBBS fee is approximately Rs 35,000, making it affordable compared to other institutions. Scholarships are available for girls, SC/ST students, and those from specific regions under schemes like Sarswati Yojana, Mukhyamantri Yuva Swawlambi Yojna, and Mukhyamantri Sahay Yojana.
While scholarships are not yet implemented, potential government introductions are anticipated. Instead of campus placements, students complete a 4.5-year internship followed by a qualifying exam for job and licensing. Fees differ based on admission criteria: Rs 30,000 for domicile-based and Rs 60,000 for All India Quota admissions.
