Bhausaheb Mulak Ayurved College and Research Hospital Nagpur Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Teaching methods are good but about time table its very complicated in case of bhausaheb Mulak Ayurvedic Mahavidyalaya and medical science and research hospital.i think it should be changed once or improved

My family belongs to ayurveda field all have done bams so I have choose this field Ppt problem based learning and models and charts projector based learning. Demonstration practical activities herbal garden ..

One who is interested in the feild of medicine will be very happy by choosing this course.as per my opinion I think it was my best choice because ayurveda is one which is made of natural ingredients and having no side effects or least. Curriculum is also well prepared allowing us to learn from basic to the best.this also teaches us how to deal with patients and also with the worlds perspective.i think some innovative ideas should be made for teaching.reading books is not only the way practical and study by fun makes you more grasp the knowledge and quickly. Group discussion, debate and role plays should be taken more than the classes . Non lectures are must to relate the things to the real world.exams are held at 6 month interval that is sessional pf 100 marks and between that periodic of 15 marks is taken that is total 9 periodics 2 sessional and 1 university test is designed in curriculum pattern.

The main reason behind choosing this is ,it is related to ancient medicine... It proves us to be different than other as teaches both ayurved and modern study... We learn to make medicine which is personally my favourite... The ayurved medicine here helps to cure diseases from root also... The area where to be improved is introducing the study of brain and heart in a bit detail.... The timing and frequency of exams is perfect now as it is scheduled in such a way that we are in touch with the syallabus nearly every day... So the exams are scheduled perfectly...

Choosing BAMS was a personal decision, this curriculum helps us to understand ancient Ayurveda and it's miraculous healing abilities, well this curriculum needs to be updated to catch up with modern science and discoveries.

I believe as a Indian we should except and try to understand and learn our own culture first. So for this I personally wanted to learn more about our own Vedas and the techniques and knowledge and treat people through ayurveda and today in India and also in foreign countries ayurveda is accepted is still progressing. So this college made me want to learn and grow my interest more and more in the ayurveda and I'm very much proud for choosing this course.

I have always been fascinated by the medical field. So I chose to become a doctor. Our college has a good faculty. We were 100 students and 12-14 teachers every year. Each of our HODs was MD in their respective fields and MS respective to their specializations. The teaching method was too interactive. It was pretty difficult to pass exams. We had 2 unit tests every year on the institute level and one university annual examination

I wanted to choose for mbbs but due to my score, I opted for bams which I love to. I think in upcoming times Ayurved is going to have huge scope and it works where even science cant work. Faculty is nice but in colleges, as expected we need to do hard from our ideas faculty don't teach too deeply and are not involved truly. Some of the faculty members are doctors and their teaching method is ok. There are 2 term exams in a year and since due to lockdown I didn't study so much so they are not that hard but due to my syllabus lag, it was quite difficult for me to cope.
