Course Curriculum Overview

5

One who is interested in the feild of medicine will be very happy by choosing this course.as per my opinion I think it was my best choice because ayurveda is one which is made of natural ingredients and having no side effects or least. Curriculum is also well prepared allowing us to learn from basic to the best.this also teaches us how to deal with patients and also with the worlds perspective.i think some innovative ideas should be made for teaching.reading books is not only the way practical and study by fun makes you more grasp the knowledge and quickly. Group discussion, debate and role plays should be taken more than the classes . Non lectures are must to relate the things to the real world.exams are held at 6 month interval that is sessional pf 100 marks and between that periodic of 15 marks is taken that is total 9 periodics 2 sessional and 1 university test is designed in curriculum pattern.

Internships Opportunities

0.5

1st year student so having no Idea about internship . But for the internship purpose I amhace seen many interns in my college studying well and handling patients perfectly. There is 6 months compulsory internship in college and 6 months outside college

Fees and Financial Aid

This course is of 4.5 years which is divided into 3 parts 1.5 year each and plus 1 year internship so you have to pay per year fees. Currently I am in first year ( batch 2023) and during admission I had to pay 184000 and now for the year 2024 fees has been reduced and had to pay 164000. Scholarships are available for the students taken admission through the rounds and not for the iq quota. Open category -no scholarship, for OBC 45% , For NT 90% ,SC 95% . according to the degree I think it is affordable as it provides scholarship also. Some new schemes are also also provided to the hostel students. By which they get more scholarship. Special 100% scholarship for girls is also declared this year but had not applicable in the colleges now, it will be starting in some time.still for the middle class person or below that it is difficult to pay lakhs in n year so affordability is not that excellent.if you get admission in government college you had to pay less fees and that is affordable

Campus Life

5

Campus is so peaceful and quite which I loved the most . Annual function named bhavotsav is held every year in which whole college participates including teachers. Ganpati mohatosav is also held of 5 days which is also the best thing . Coming to library, books are always available for us and gad a good amount of books and other journals available there. Classroom is having smart board which is necessary for the presentations and the sone teaching stuff. Extra curricular activities are though less and sports are mostly involved by the hostelers.no social groups are help by any student.

Admission

I had Also applied for government colleges of nagpur and other private college also but cut off was high and so didn't got admission in that. Gac nagpur and Shri Ayurveda was the choice I wanted to. For the admission process I had to fill tha rounds form and put the list of colleges according to your choice then colleges according to cut off selects you and merit list is made of that which is also displayed on the site every process is to be done online and at last for the confirm admission you have to visit college and pay fees and other deposits this college takes admission on the basis of NEET EXAM

Faculty

5

A batch has 100 students. Faculty to students ratio is obviously less. Teachers staff is good and teaches also well. Some teachers are really understanding and know the students side also. Affcource everything has 2 sides ,Some of the teachers are strict and rough but though they think good of us so there is no big problem in that.one of the teacher of samhita department is my favourite one she is very disciplined and such a kind person I have ever seen.coming to the exam schedule, in 1.5 year 2 sessional is conducted in college after 6 months and between that every 3 periodics as conducted that is total 9 periodic taken that is of 15 marks each and sessional is of 100 marks and also practical.at the end of 1.5year for the passing of year there is university test conducted by University giving centres in the same city of college practicals of this are conducted in college itself but externals come to take viva and practical.

As an ambition of becoming a doctor and serving society, I opted for this course. faculty to student ratio is quite high with more than 6 professors per subject and about 10 for each department. qualification of faculty is minimum MD in the respective subject. timely exams are taken but if you study regularly no worries about getting passed with good marks.
