BITSOM Placements 2025 Report is yet to be released. However, as per the BITSOM Placements 2024 Report, the highest salary package offered was INR 50 LPA, while the average stood at INR 23.41 LPA, and the median salary was INR 24 LPA for the MBA batch. Out of 131 participating students, 119 secured placement offers from 41 recruiters. Notably, 77% of the placed students (92 candidates) received packages of INR 20 LPA or higher.

Little, BCG, EY, KPMG, McKinsey & Company, MXV Consulting, Praxis Global Alliance, PwC, Aditya Birla Group, UltraTech Cement, Wockhardt, ICICI Bank, J.P. Morgan, Kotak, SBI Life Insurance, Hindustan Unilever, Jubilant FoodWorks, HT Media Group, Media.net, Pidilite, Signify, among several others.

Ques. What strategic advice would you give to MBA students at BITSOM for optimizing their internship experiences to convert them into full-time offers?
Ans. The foremost point to keep in mind is to understand the workflow of the company. The high-level strategy and on-ground implementation of the tasks in the company, challenge the assumptions to reach a unified solution and practice an insights-driven approach aligned with creativity will help the students to secure full-time offers during the internship period.
Ques. What initiatives does BITSOM have in place to prepare MBA students for placement interviews with high-profile recruiters?
Ans. Placements can be stressful for MBA students, so stress management and preparation are important for placements. Most of the companies, while recruiting in B-schools, send an email to the shortlisted students, waiting for which can be overwhelming. Stress is not the solution; be patient and wait for your turn. It is said that hope for the best but be prepared for the worst, so don’t keep unrealistic expectations, which you may regret later. Stay calm and stay confident.
Ques. Why should I pursue MBA at BITSOM? Does it provide quality placement mentorship to the students?
Ans. BITSOM is the 5th campus of BITS Pilani, which is known for its excellence in education. The cohort of the institute goes through rigorous training during the course duration. Due to its vast alumni network, students get the opportunity of one-on-one mentorship and live project guidance. Even the faculty of BITSOM are visiting faculty of global B-schools like Oxford University and the University of Washington, which means they visit India for 2 weeks and teach their subject of expertise to the students. This depicts that the decision to pursue MBA at BITSOM is the best.
Ques. How does the MBA curriculum at BITSOM help students in preparation for placement interviews?
Ans. The curriculum of MBA at BITSOM includes 2 live projects, that is, consulting and research projects about the problem statement of the organization. These projects allow students to work with renowned MNCs and industry leaders. The institute also offers psychometric and self-assessment programs to the students, which help students in preparation and planning, which is one of the unique features of MBA at BITSOM. All these parameters help students in placement interview preparation.
