01 Aug, 2025 CAT 2025 Registration has started for MBA/ PGDM admission. Aspirants can register @iimcat.ac.in upto September 13, 2025. CAT 2025 is scheduled for November 30, 2025. For more details, click here.
BITSOM offers admission to MBA programs that offer 5 specializations. Admission to BITSOM is entrance-based; the candidates should qualify for the CAT/GMAT/GRE, and their overall profile and performance in the personal interview will be considered. Apart from academics, they should have some sort of leadership impact on organizations or communities.
Admission to BITSOM is open to candidates who can apply through the official website of BITSOM. After the scores of the CAT/GMAT/GRE are submitted, the admission team will start evaluating the application based on the candidate's overall profile. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a personal interview, which will be conducted online. The candidates can choose their time slots for the interview. Once the merit list is released, the offer letter will be sent to the selected candidates. Selected candidates will have to pay the fees for their preferred course.
The application fee for the MBA course at BITSOM is INR 2,500.

The candidates who are applying for admission to MBA programs should have completed a bachelor's degree or should be in the final year of their graduation. The candidates should also appear for CAT/GMAT/GRE before applying to BITSom.

- The candidates will have to register themselves by providing all the required details, like name, phone number, and email address.
- The candidate will have to verify their email address by clicking on the link that is sent to their email address.
- Now the candidate can start filling up the application form with all their personal, academic, and professional details.
- They will have to upload all the documents required in the format and size requested by the college.
- Once the candidate has completed their form, they will have to pay the non-refundable application fee.
BITSOM Admission FAQs 2025
Ques: Are there any chances to modify my application after payment?
Ans: Once the payment and submission are done for the application form, the modifications are not allowed. This is why the BITSOM system requires completion of all sections before payment.
Ques: Is there any interview for admission to BITSOM?
Ans: Yes, there is an interview for admission to BITSOM. The interview is online-based, lasting 30-40 minutes, and conducted by one faculty/admissions member and one industry leader or BITS alumnus. It is conversational, focusing on your motivation, personal stories, teamwork, and problem-solving approach.
Ques: Does BITSOM have a preferred entrance exam score for shortlisting?
Ans: There is no specific examination that is preferred. Applicants can apply with scores from the CAT, GMAT, or GRE. The candidates must have qualified for those exams for admission to BITSOM.
Ques: Is work experience required by BITSOM for admission?
Ans: No, prior work experience is not mandatory at BITSOM. BITSOM welcomes both fresh graduates and experienced professionals. The selection panel values diverse backgrounds.
