Government Polytechnic College Jodhpur Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Government Polytechnic College Jodhpur does not have a strong campus placement system. In most years, very few companies visit, and many branches do not get any meaningful campus recruitment. Because of this, students mostly rely on off-campus opportunities, referrals, or plan to continue higher studies. Placement Eligibility Students are generally considered placement-eligible from: 5th semester onward But the number of companies actually visiting is limited, so eligibility hardly matters. Companies That Visit In some years, a few local or small-scale companies visit for basic technical roles or internships, but: No major core companies No big IT recruiters No MNC participation Because the visits are inconsistent, the number of offers varies widely and is usually very low.

You need to complete your course in order to join any company but you can give an interview or apply for it after the 4th sem i.e. final year. Companies like tata motors and other automotive companies visited in past and took 5-10 students over electrical, mechanical, and electronics branches. The highest package offered to an electronics branch student was 10 lakh per year and it goes near 5 lahks per year for the average package. Approximately 70-80% of students get placements easily due to government college education in the technical field. I will try my best for a government job in the power grid or in the railway field.

Fifth-semester students are eligible for campus Placement. Many companies like JCB, l &t, bosch, Honda, Maruti Suzuki, Tech Mahindra, and others companies give many offers to students. The highest package in my college is 8 lakh per annum and the average package is 3 lakh per annum. 80-90 percent of students get Placements. My plan is to take the campus Placement and campus Placement.
