Diploma College called Government Polytechnic College Jodhpur was established in 1958 on the premises of MBM Engineering College, Jodhpur. The College started with an intake capacity of 240 students and three diploma engineering disciplines and now offers 6 different 3-years diploma courses in different engineering areas in Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Fiber Optics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering. Government Polytechnic College Jodhpur Admissions

The Government Polytechnic College, Jodhpur provides diploma courses’ admissions to first-year Engineering as well as non-engineering and second-year Lateral Admissions. The online admissions through the portal begin from August 08, 2020, and the last date to submit the application form was August 20, 2020.

Government Polytechnic College Jodhpur Placements

Total 72 students from Batch 2020-2021 were placed in various organizations after graduating from these programs. Many firms, including L&T, Yamaha, Maruti, Honda, small business companies, and JCB tractor manufacturers companies, come to the university for campus drives to recruit the graduates. L&T offered the highest CTC of INR 4.36 to 4.77 LPA.

Campus: The university campus has a total built-up area of 60000 sq mt with several facilities for the students on campus.
Hostel: The college has separate hostels for boys and girls with a capacity of 248 students with a common area and wifi facilities. The boys’ hostel has 224 beds and the girls’ hostel has 24 beds.

Polytechnic college jodhpur review

Admission:

To be honest, I did not choose Government Polytechnic College Jodhpur because it aligned with my long-term goals. I am a JEE aspirant, so my real aim has always been to pursue engineering through the JEE route. However, due to parental pressure and practical considerations, I had to join this college as a temporary path. My parents preferred a government institute over private colleges because of affordability and the stability associated with government-recognized diplomas.

10th-pass students can get admission in 1st year and if you are a 12th-pass student then you will be direct admission in 2nd year. Admission:

A 10th pass can apply to this diploma course. I find the application form in newspapers and the official college site. Application dates after the 10th result are declared. Obc, sc, and st students can avail of reservation benefits. No, the admission Process is very Easy I don't want to see a change in the admission process.
