The hostel at IISER Tirupati is a fully residential facility with compulsory accommodation for BS-MS students included in the semester fees, costing Rs 5000 per semester. Each room is shared by two students, equipped with personal almirahs, beds, study tables, chairs, bookshelves, and features two windows and a fan. The hostels are newly built, well-furnished, and include amenities such as 24/7 electricity, water supply, solar-powered hot water, clean bathrooms, washing machines, water dispensers, and free WiFi.

Students also have access to a gymnasium in each hostel block. The mess operates on a pay and eat system with a diverse menu, costing approximately Rs 150 per day, which can total around Rs 4000-5000 per month. There are two mess options available: North and South. Additionally, students need to purchase their own mattresses and can opt for a cooler during summers with an additional charge of Rs 500 per month for electricity.
