From 3rd semester students are eligible for placements.Companies like Goldman sachs,Wipro, Deloitte visit our college for campus placements.Almost all the students get placed in our college.I want to become a Chef after getting degree

The PRIDE OF PSGCAS

Likes

The exposure of our college is really well and good.
The faculties over there are friendly and the way they teach is so good.
Our college has really good infrastructure which was my first impression about our college

Dislikes

Our college has batch wise classes which is a little bit difficult

Placement Experience:

From 3rd semester students are eligible for campus placements.Companies like goldman sachs, Deloitte, Infosys, Wipro visit our college for placement.The highest package so far is 6-7lakhs per annum.Almost all the students from our college who opted for placement get placed in good companies.

All about PSG Arts and Science college, Coimbatore

Likes

The college has a huge and well maintained infrastructure.
All the faculties are very friendly and supportive
The college is also providing good placement with high packages.

Dislikes

I feel the fees of various self financed course are too high.
The college hostel fee is also very high compared to other college hostels.
The events and other cultural programs in the college is very minimal.

Placement Experience:

The college provides a very good placement for the students. they are providing placements for final year students of various courses. The highest package offered was 20 lakh per year and the average package was 5 lakh per year.

In my department all facilities are good hearted. All will speak Tamil and english during class. So it will useful for government students - who studied in government school in their high level of education.
In my campus life is so good. In my college days, one bridge is there. So we can easily go to hostel. Otherwise it will leads to accident. Because, my clg is there in main road.
All seniors are good soul. They will provide guidance and their notes. So we can easily attend lab exam and CA exams.

Dislikes

In my college, production department is very strict.
If we did any mistake related to girls or drug directly they will dismiss for min 6 months.

Placement Experience:

Placement is very good. In my class around 60 - 58 peoples are place in MNC ( combination of core companies and IT companies) remaining 2 persons not optin for placement. They have own plan to attend government exam. Wipro, CTS, goldman sangs, amazon, qualcom, texas instruments, teminos .... So on

Life at PSG iTech

Likes

They offer a very good college infrastructure like neat classrooms, Air Conditioned seminar halls, abundant labs, wifi, canteen, indoor/outdoor playground, top security, transport, etc
They conduct a lot of workshops, seminars and other certified courses to enrich the students’s knowledge
A very friendly and well organized faculties who are an expertise in the field.

Dislikes

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements right from their 7th semester, which will be conducted on campus. Many companies like Sobha Constructions (UAE), Amazon, JP Morgan, Adani, Bosh, Cameron, CRI pumps, Daimler truck Asia etc. Average of 200 recruiters are there, list of which can be found in the college website Psgitech.ac.in

Life in PSG

Likes

The campus is very clean and you will enjoy being in the campus.
The professors know their subjects very well and teach us in an easier way

Dislikes

The canteen doesnt offer you with variety of items

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is an integrated course where we complete post graduate by five years. I chose this course because of my interest in computer science and mathematics. I would ask only those who are interested in both to choose this course as most of the subjects require knowledge in them both.

There was a many cultural activities like a many events conducted by various departments like quiz treasure and connection and mini games are there
The teaching faculty usually maintain a well professional languages without any discomfort we can easily understand every topics
I was staying in hostel and they are maintaining a very good and clean hostel everywhere without any type of cleanliness issues

Dislikes

Actually we want a very walk around 1.2 km for the hostel to the colleges
The snacks provided in the college was very cheap and it will not be tasteful
In every shops in the colleges are to be pay in the cash and no up transactions are already inside the colleges

Course Curriculum Overview:

College to improve the curriculum because the syllabus I that I will come across in the French accounting subject or similar to the CBSE class 12 that I was studied the improve the standard of level because it was already repeated by the class 12th CBSE school

Hostel infrastructure is optimised very well
College infrastructure also done very well for the fees
Girls boys ratio is now 1;3 , maximum 7k peoples can accomodate the hostel

Dislikes

Night time is allowed upto only on Saturday 12pm
No strict rules are followed by the management
College timing is 8.30 to 6pm for sandwich students

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm first year you don't understand the course and why? When you come 2nd and 3rd years you will know the potentially of the course and value of the course, definitely it will be very usefull for placements as well as your carrier

The exposure of the clubs in our college that made students learn many things
The cultural events conducted by students in our college
The campus life of both sf and aided students.

Dislikes

The teaching by some of the staff which was not up to the mark
The size of the college is very small and no place for leisure time
No proper funding for participating in competition in

The placements were okay in our college, it starts from the second year onwards in respect to diff degree. For economics it starts from 5th semester onwards. There were many companies who visited including goldman sachs, deloitte, zoho, tcs, accenture etc. and the package starts from 1,20,000 to 12,00,000 rupees per annum.

Faculties are good in handling classes .
Scholarships are available which helps .
Placements are good for bba and bcom courses

Dislikes

Infrastructure is not as expected and widely spoken by people
Placements are good. However, they disqualify as many as possible and placements for other courses are not good.
Cultural events are not worth the money.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is not much relevant. Though teaching methods are good course curriculum is not upto the mark . Courses curriculum should include more chapters that are relevant to the course . Exams are easy .
