Course Curriculum Overview

The course of diploma has all needed subjects required to prepare ourselves for higher education or employment. The course has computational mathematics, data structure, communication systems, computer architecture and operating system concepts

Placement Experience

Companies are invited by the placement committee. The responded companies will be given a scheduled date for interview in which students will attend group discussions and tests and then the placement is confirmed.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Each year the academic fees is 23,000. Total for 3 years will be 70,000-75,000 without hostel, lab, canteen and library deposits. One time admission fees is collected during admission. Annual exam fees are to be paid before registration for the exam.

Campus Life

College is known for its enthusiastic way of conducting extra curricular activities especially in sports activities. Inter college competitions happens through out the year. The college is very strict in handling any discipline issues which can lead to even dismissing from the college.

Admission

The basic qualification for admission is to have SSC, SSLC or ITI pass. Admission guidelines are as per DOTE Tamilnadu. Completed application form and all school certificates has to be shown for verification during the interview.

PSG is a institution which has been in educational fields for decades. They show importance in choosing the right people for their colleges as professors. The faculties of IT departments are extremely good in their field of competency and that helps us to get the best understanding of technology out of them.

Atmosphere and affordability

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students will be eligible without any backlog. Axis bank, Deloitte, zuilka motors , Maruti Suzuki I got offer letter from 2 companies Axis Bank and zulika motors Axis Bank offered for 240000/- per annum and zulika motors offered 300000/- per annum. Then I tried outside also I got even better package 420000/- per annum at Avias india manufacturer of stainless Steel and kitchenware. So I went with Better package I went for 5 months then I resigned the job for the higher studies

Placement Experience:

Placements starts from the 7th semester.companies Like tcs,wipro,zoho,infosys vist. The highest packages is 24lap,average 3lpa and around 85%of student get placed. I plan to start my career in IT and gain experience.

There are companies but the companies that were told that the good ones, they didn't come so much.. only a few companies that gave a package above 5 lakhs came in for my department.. the rest of them were either 4 lakh package or below it was not very good. even the 1 or 2 good companies that came tehy came for electrical.

The curriculum of each course is different and it is followed by the guidance of Anna university, we have several topics and it is under the regulation of 2021 respectively, I feel this easier to learn and there comes an opportunity to do what we learn in theory hour in our laboratory hour it will make more connected to our course, but there is lagging factor that is we are far away from the modern world and we need to put effort to compete with. The exams are not difficult and the frequency of the exam is quite manageable.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 3rd year for placements and also who don't have standing arrears ,if they have standing arrears the clg management will remove them from placements and also the Placements are very poor . The average package is 350000/year . And the maximum package is 15L Last year nearly 100 students out of 180 in cse dept are non-placed , they are forced to write higher studies letter and submit in college . Even though they won't help for any placement side.

I did apply for coimbatore institute of technology, this college as compared to CIT has well infrastructure which CIT lags although being an government college , the education curriculum was different from that of PSG in CIT , on top of which the placements were the best at PSG compared to all the other colleges which brought me to the conclusion of PSG having comparatively the best of this course I've chosen....Read More
