Eligibility Criteria

For PGP:

• The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA.
• The candidates appearing for the final year of bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results are also eligible to apply.

Keynote: All the applicants should note that the mere fulfilment of minimum eligibility criteria will not ensure consideration for shortlisting by IIMs.

For PGP ABM:

The candidates are required to have a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Science or Agricultural Engineering or allied subjects in Agriculture such as Agriculture, Agronomy, Soil Science, Agriculture Biochemistry, Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Extension, Plant Breeding and Genetics, Entomology, Plant Pathology etc.

Equivalent Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology (4 years + 10+2 or Post B.Sc. or Diploma) or equivalent examinations recognized by MHRD /AICTE.
• Any other equivalent Bachelor’s Degree Qualification recognized by Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi.

Application Procedure

• Candidates must create a profile at CAT website and activate the ID using OTP generated.
• Then login with User ID and Password and click on “Register”.
• Then submit the application after entering mandatory details.
• The candidates are shortlisted for the interview on the basis of their performance in the CAT, scholastic achievement and relevant work experience.
• After that, the screened candidates have to take part in the WAT and PI rounds.
• WAT and PI will be held in the last week of February.

Eligibility Criteria

For FPM:

• A Master’s degree or its equivalent in any discipline with minimum 55% aggregate marks.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with 60% marks or equivalent grade average.
• Any professional qualifications such as CA, ICWA and CS with a minimum 55% aggregate marks.

For EFPM:

• The candidates should have completed Secondary and Senior Secondary with minimum 55% marks (45% for reserved categories).
• Graduation (non-engineering) with minimum 50% marks (45% for reserved categories) or equivalent CGPA and Post-graduation with minimum 55% marks or equivalent CGPA.
• Graduation (engineering) with minimum 65% marks or equivalent CGPA.
• 7 Years of Work Experience as on March 31, 2025.

Application Procedure

Online mode:

• Candidates must create a profile at CAT website and activate the ID using OTP generated.
• Then login with User ID and Password and click on “Register”.
• Fill the FPM Admission column in the form.
• Then submit the application after entering mandatory details.

Offline Mode:

• Candidates must create a profile at CAT website and activate the ID using OTP generated.
• Visit the official website of IIM, Lucknow.
• In the academic section, click FPM program.
• Then based on your requirement, select on the course you desire to join.
• Then go to the admission button in the menu bar.
• Download the form and fill the details.
• Then send it to the administration office in the address with the application fee.

The candidate must submit the filled application form along with copies of documents.

IIM Lucknow offers a two-year Post-Graduate Programme in Management for Working Executives (PGPWE), previously known as Working Managers' Programme (WMP).

The 2 specializations are 

• PGPWE
• IPMX

Important Dates

Eligibility Criteria

• The candidates must have executives with Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or an equivalent academic pursuit (i.e., 10+2+3), with a minimum of 50% marks.
• A valid GMAT score (test taken during the last 5 years) is required.
• CAT / GRE / GATE score.
• A minimum of 3 years of full-time post-qualification (after graduation) managerial/ professional experience by the candidate.

Note: If you are applying through the PGP-WE Entrance Exam, you need not submit any scorecard.

Application Process

The CAT exam usually appears in the month of November.

• The candidates are shortlisted for the interview on the basis of their performance in the CAT, scholastic achievement and relevant work experience.
• After that, the screened candidates have to take part in the WAT and PI rounds.
• WAT and PI will be held in the last week of February.
• Shortlisted Candidates are announced in the 3rd Week of February.
• Writing Ability Tests and Personal Interviews for the candidates usually helds in February.

Online Application:

• The online application for all the courses is available in the official CAT website.
• The candidates can select their course in their desired location.
• The candidates should apply by paying the application form fee and fill the required details.
• They must have a valid email id.

Offline Mode: 

This is for those appearing in exams other than CAT.

• Go to the official website of IIM Lucknow.
• Click on the required program option on the menu bar and look for the admission menu.
• Now click on the apply button on the admission tab and download the form.
• After filling it send the form to the given address.

Students have to send the application form along with a Demand Draft of INR 1000/- and INR 500/- for SC/ST applicants drawn in favour of IIM Lucknow.

The candidates have to attach various documents along with the below given details:

• Class 10th mark sheet and Certificate
• Class 12th mark sheet and Certificate
• Graduation mark sheets and Degree Certificate
• Post-Graduation mark sheets and Degree Certificate
• Scorecard of CAT / GRE / GATE / GMAT / PGPWE
• Demand Draft
• Category Certificate for SC/ST/PWD candidates
• Certificate of Disability, if applicable

Selection Criteria

• Based on the scores secured in CAT / GRE / GATE / GMAT / PGPWE Entrance Exam by the candidates, they are shortlisted for Writing Ability Test and Personal Interview;
• After the Writing Ability Test & Personal Interview are done, the final score is calculated as follows:

1. GMAT Test Score: 30%
2. Academic and Professional Profile : 30%
3. Writing Ability Test: 10%
4. Personal Interview: 30%
