Best Management College in Kolkata

Likes

The faculty of the college is just outstanding.
The college organises numero events which improves our communication and collaborative skills.
The colllege gives good placements in reputed airlines and hotels.

Dislikes

Most of the students are irregular to classes and don't pay attention to the classes.
The faculty is good but sometimes some classes are skipped.
Every 4 months the faculty members are changed due to some internal disputes.

Placement Experience:

After 5th semester exams, the students are eligible for applying full time jobs or internships in hotels or other companies. Some companies who have already visited in our college are Air India, Indigo, ITC Hotels, Oberoi Hotels, Taj Hotels etc. The highest package which a student got from our college is around 300000/Yr and the average is around 200000/Yr. ISHM provides 100% placement assistance and the percentage of students who get placed are around 70%. I want to get into airport ground operations after completing my graduation.

Best Hotel management college in West Bengal

Likes

The mostly things I like about my college was the classrooms
There were many practical labs and kitchens
The best facilities was there were a food court inside the college campus

Dislikes

Mostly dislike thing was girls and boys washroom was combined
According to classrooms the washrooms were very less
And sometimes you also get trouble with the lift

Placement Experience:

I have already did my it which means industrial training in Radisson Jodhpur Rajasthan and in Taj Vivanta Goa. I also applied for holiday in in Florida USA . After getting the degree my plans are to work in the hotel industry for maximum 4 to 5 years and after that I will start my own business. According to me among all students the people who are not qualified in the international placements the definitely get qualified in India

Overall its a amzing college which help you to reach your carrer at ahigh place

Likes

I liked the way of teaching, they teaches and breif us a little little that the students are understand easily
The faculty are so disciplimed amd good behaviour they are support us to do every work or every practical session
They have good arrangements and a digitalization for studying

Dislikes

At my starting their is ragging happen but now this issue will be solved its far better than past few years

Placement Experience:

When you are on your six semester u can applied and get sit for the interview for your campus placement.. They offer various chains of hotel like Taj, Hyatt, Jw marriott, Etc they give almost all 5 star brand hotels and a good package with the accomodation..

Likes

It have nice and powerful ac in each and every class room.
It helds many competition and many festivals inside the college

Dislikes

The campus area is very small dont have any play ground or auditorium
Labs are very smalll and unorganised its not adjustable for a whole class

Placement Experience:

After 4/5 semester campus placement is done many high society companies visit such as TAJ ,OBEROIS, JW MARRIOT,etc each students r made individual offer from each companies the highest package is 35k .100% student will get placement but the salary and place may differ

Talking about my experience is good facilities are very friendly and helpful
In the International School of hospitality management the class rooms are so good
In the class rooms we have air conditioner and projecter also

Thing I dislike in my college the campus
Things I diskile about my college baathroom ar not good
Things about i dislike in my college the practical lads are not good and so small in size

1.first think to do practical lads need now a days college faculties are change so faculties are need to improvement in practical knowledge and theory knowledge 2. Exam Frequency every 2 month college take a class test and Avery six months we have semester exam 3.specipic aspects of the curriculum after completing this course I got job in hotel crush ship and also retail secter thats why 4.This curriculum prepare my communication level and personality development

Likes

The faculty teaching style ,and their friendly behaviour.
The class room and the neat and cleaniness .
No ragging teacher are strict towards ragging .

Dislikes

Lack of canteen in our college and staff.
Strict Dicision taken for punishment if something goes wrong.
There are less no of washroom in our college.

College life should be fun life

Likes

The atmosphere of the college is very good
The college is having many events which is really fun.
The faculties are very cool and knowledgeable

Dislikes

They don't have there canteen you have to go outside of the campus to eat.
They don't have any transportation facilities
The syllabus should be covered very slowly

Course Curriculum Overview:

I want to do a Hotel management and this college is best for me because there few structure is low compared to another colleges. The college will improve your personality, knowledge, skills. You need to know English conversation, if you don't know any English then don't worry college will improve your. You have 6 semester exam and 12 internal exam in whole 3 year course. And the exam should be very easy if you have common sense and you study little bit you can do better in academics. This course is totally practical based you have to be good in practical.

Infrastructures of college are good and the classroom are also good and al the facilities like washrooms, Cabin area all are awesome..
The location of colleges are outstanding because it is located in almost middle of Kolkata and in travelling to home from college are easy and not much costly..
All the Teachers and All staff are good and there behaviour are also good and teachers teach in simple language that all student’s understand…

Dislikes

The tuition fees are too much high because it’s too much as they provide facilities…
Placements are not too good as aspects to other colleges for this course..
The campus are small and extra area are not available for chilling

I have choosen this course because of it's my passions from starting of my life and I enjoyed when i cook anything. And my family is also supporting when I said to my family. Yes This course and colg both are good and here this college preparers to all the students for further future work and real world and go through in Life for success. The area I suggest for impressions is you to visit more hotels and restaurant and see how they manage and work for Clients .. Examination are not too much hard but this course is mainly practical course..

Long story short about My College

Likes

Faculties were very good supportive and friendly
Your round even use to take place her regarding our courts only that can enhance our practical experience of the industry
Placements and internship provided by this college are pretty good

Dislikes

Infrastructure could be more better than currently
Improvement needs in the size of the classroom
Test should be taken more frequently and should be more effective

Placement Experience:

After the second year students eligible for placements Placements of this college is very good many 5 star companies brands use the visit this college for placements like Marriott, Taj Oberoi, Leela, Lalit etc In fact during the FIFA World Cup I also got selected for w Doha Qatar for an internship of three months
