The specific aspects of the curriculum which influenced me the most are the timings of the exams and the trainings. The curriculum is set in such a way that we get enough time to prepare ourselves for exams and trainings thus helping us in learning time management skills. The course should include regular physical activities for the students so that they can be active and be more focused towards their academics. The frequency of each semester exams is that 1 semester exam is held in every 6 months and 1 summative exam is held in every 2 months. The exams are very easy so nothing much to worry about that.

The companies which visited our college like Indigo, Air India they provided around Rs.18000 to Rs.19000 monthly salary for airport security staff. Other hotel companies like ITC, Doubletree by Hilton, Taj they hired students from our college for Housekeeping & Front office roles and they offered around Rs.13000 to Rs.16000 monthly salary.

After 5th semester exams, the students are eligible for applying full time jobs or internships in hotels or other companies. Some companies who have already visited in our college are Air India, Indigo, ITC Hotels, Oberoi Hotels, Taj Hotels etc. The highest package which a student got from our college is around 300000/Yr and the average is around 200000/Yr. ISHM provides 100% placement assistance and the percentage of students who get placed are around 70%. I want to get into airport ground operations after completing my graduation.

In 1st Year I paid around Rs.160000 In 2nd Year I paid Rs. 110000 In 3rd I have to pay Rs.110000 The fees of my batchmates who are in Hotel Management or in the Hospitality sector are around Rs.400000 and Rs.300000 respectively. For scholarships, the students have to give a test on passing which they get a scholars of Rs.50,000. The test is very easy for the students so they don't need to get too much worried. Some basic GK questions are asked so if the students have a good knowledge of that it will be very much smoother for them.

The festivals which are held in our college are like Republic Day celebration, Holi celebration, House keeping week celebration, Cake mixing ceremony, Puja festivals.Numerous journals and textbooks are available in the college library which is accessible by all of the students. Every classroom has screen projector for digital and practical based learning. Every year in the month of January, annual sports is held. The college runs a fine dining restaurant named 'Sizzle by ISHM' which provides part time jobs to the college students.

I had applied in JT Aviation college which is in Raghunathpur but later I changed my decision because JT aviation college don't provide the required airport ground operation trainings which are very much necessary after joining as a airport ground staff in an airline company. ISHM provides all these required facilities and trainings so this is the reason why I chose ISHM over any other aviation colleges in Kolkata. Every year around the month of April-May, thr admission opens in ISHM.

The faculty to student ratio is around 12:90 i.e., 12 teachers per 90 students.The teachers are very good and they maintain a very healthy teacher-student relationship. The name of the two faculties whom I liked the most are Ananda Ganguli and Nisha Gomes. They are not like teachers, they are just like our father and mother. They genuinely cares for the students and suggests them what is actually right and wrong for them. There is not such any faculty whom I didn't like. Everyone of them are very supportive. Every year 2 semester exams are held and before every semester exam, 2 summative exams are held for making the sydue prepared for their semester exams. The exams are very easy. Nothing comes outside of the syllabus. The students just need to learn what is being taught to them in the college.

Many gyms like Physiomax, Megasteel Fitness, cafeterias like Barista, The Cult, OMG cafe, library like the famous Newtown library, public area like RDB are available near the college campus. Hostel facility is not provided by the college. PGs are available and the campus timings for the 1st year students is from 9:30 AM-12:30 PM and for the 2nd & 3rd year students the campus timings is from 1:30 PM-4:30 PM. The famous hangout places include the college's own restaurant 'Sizzle by ISHM' , The Cult, Five Mad Men etc. and security is good in these areas.
