All You Need To Know About REC Sonbhadra

Likes

I liked the environment and the location of the college surrounded by the mini mountains.
College infrastructure and in campus facilities .
100% support by the college faculty members

Dislikes

The locality near the college very backward.
People living nearby the college seems very judgmental makes it difficult to go out of the college
Lack of resources nearby the college. There very less travel facilities and vehicle fares are expensive.

Admission:

Being a government college, it provides good points in any basic resume. This is the main reason I applied for it. I was not planning to start college immediately after school, so, I did not applies to any colleges. At my time of admission I got the college through UPSEE counselling.

Likes

I really like in terms of feees as you will get all your fees refunded through scholarship.
The campus of college is really good as the college is away from the main market and city so environment is very peacefull and silent. You can study silently without any disturbance noise in the library as well in the hostel.
The faculty is very supportive in terms of study and projects also.

Dislikes

Placement cell is not active that much. You have to prepare for the off campus placement.
The wi-fi speed is not as good sometimes it get disconnected automatically.
Not have proper playing grounds and the ground was also not cleaned by the management we students used to clean it.

Admission:

I choose this college the fees is more affordable as compare to other colleges. i give the jee mains exam and after that i participated in the aktu counselling the counselling is so late so we get late admissions and at the time of college filling i prefer this college because of the good faculty as i listens everywhere but expectations not meet as i think. if you have to prepare for the gate or any other high level JOB you can sure come here otherwise you will get nothing else here. Everything is just the average you will not enjoy as college life.

A friendly Environment to make you comfortable and a better college life
A supportive teaching staff that helps you to in many aspects

Dislikes

Faculties sometime are very rude and arrogant
Time boundataion to roam inside the campus only

I opted for this college because at that time it was having best review and best teacher and fees was also affordable for middle class. The hostle and the message facility and good Connectivity with market is bitter far

My Point of View for my college

Likes

I really like rec sonbhadra in terms of fees as you will get all you fees refunded through scholarships, that shows that they really care about student's financial condition.
Also the campus of college is really good as the environment in sonbhadra is really good. Its good for study.
The faculty is really supportive in terms of study and research also.

Dislikes

The placement is not that much good in 2024 not even a single IT company visits. 2-3 Core company and for non-tehnical role company visit the college.
Placement cell is not active that much. ypu have to look for off-campus placements.

Admission:

I choose this college the fees is more affordable as compare to other colleges. I did not get any rejection from any other colleges but the fees in private colleges is really high. For the admission in this college you need qualify AKTU's UPSC exam that happens before 2021 but now you can get college through JEE mains counselling. Cutoffs for this college increasing day by day. So it is required qualify jee mains for this college.

Affordable but should not be first choice

Likes

Fee Structure is flexible and with scholarship.
Library facility for students to help them learn
Free wifi for students upto 10gb per week.

Dislikes

Mess is worst for boys. You can't live with it.
Timing restriction on campus would take fun out.
No events and function are supported by college.

Admission:

I had taken UPTU exam and got rank of around 12k in general and got this college. My category rank was around 1600 and I got this college at last round of my counselling. Need to prepare several documents before starting counselling.

College ka tension.

Likes

Only hostel view in winter and hostel room is good washroom clean every weeks.
Professors are too good and helpful as well as cooperative.

Dislikes

College life not good as compared to campus life.
Transportation not proper . At night time you can't come to college.
Lot of restrictions for walking and other too much thinks.

I was diploma holder and I was given the exam UPSEE at 2020 and get near about 2203 rank which is too high but I counciling for college but due to high rank i didn't get any college but in last i got REC SONBHADRA college in spot round i.e., electronic branch. And after that i take admission easily.

Campus Nature is around with mountain...
Faculty are very good and supportive to student

Rajkiya engineering College Sonbhadra Average placement is 5LPA and the highest placement is 45LPA in 2022 year and 15 LPA in 2023 . campus is so greenery and mountains are there but area is in rural area

Admission process by aktu counselling I got this college. Entrance exam - jee mains , process by submitting in aktu counselling in round 1 I got this and cut off 4 lakh AI and in cse- 84000 AI suprisingly good to see this college

Decent and affordable college.

Likes

The college is in good place i.e in mountain.
No traffic sound come because too far from the main road.
Quit and calm environment so we can study easily

Dislikes

The college is too far from the road so takes too much time and effort to reach.
Market is also too far so if have to take anything you have to go approx 2.5km.
In summer the temperature is too high so this is also a problem.

Admission:

Course eligibility is 10+2 with JEE Main exam. The admission process is very simple just you have to participate in UPCET counseling and take your seat. Yes, reservation benefits are also provided so you can easily get admission.

Good college for the students when they are not eligible for tier 2 colleges.

Likes

I like the teaching methods of the facalty and very helpful for the students.
Library one of best place for the study. A lot of facilities available in library.High speed wifi also available in whole campus.
I like sports facilities. Students and facalty both are involved in sports. Which is very interesting.

Dislikes

I dislike the mess food. The quality of the mess food is not good.
I dislike the hostel closing gate. In the college hostel are closed till 10:30 .pm
I dislike the Wi-Fi in the hostel because many times wifi running speed are very bad.

Admission:

Eligibility is 10+2+ JEE MAINS. Application forms are available on the college website and the fee is approx 1000 after this you have to go to the college for admission. Reservation is also a category wise so you can get category benefits for sc/st students more relaxation provided. I want the admission process should be easier so that anyone can apply easily.
