Comprehensive Review of Jain College Engineering and Research

Likes

Highly strict and discipline is maintained. Study oriented college
Some of the staff members are very supportive and encouraging.
Class engagement is well and good. Decent placement opportunities are provided. Some cultural activities are conducted for better engagement of students.

Dislikes

College Campus is not so good. It's just feels like an appartment, and the construction of the building is poor.
Usage of mobile phone is not allowed in the college campus. Only we can use the mobile phones in wash room. If we caught using mobile phones then mobile phones will be seized and have pay ₹ 500/- as Fine
No proper Internet facility. Even we cannot use our mobile phone hotspot for laptops.

Placement Experience:

A minimum number of Companies visit every year. But a good number of students, who actually deserve are placed that's for sure... Companies like Scientific Games, Dlithe, Pranashka Technologoies, TCS, Wipro etc Visits Well in last 3 batches, the initial 2 batches got placed with 70% , and the last batch is not so performed well... Around 20 students got decent placement.

Likes

Teaching faculties and method of Teaching and labs
Events conducted every year with large crowd

Area were college is located ,it is located in between many industry

Placement Experience:

From 5 sem students are eligible for campus placement recently five 5 sem students are placed in semiconductor industry Percentage of students placed is above 70% My plan after completing degree is to follow my dream job and find a successful grip in that According to my eye witness highest packageis 12 lakh per year from su Mos company and lowest is from Tata 5 lakh per year

The ocean of knowledge - Jain college of engineering and research

Placement Experience:

The college provides campus entries. As we are the first batch of the institute, no such placement activities have taken place. We are currently in 3 rd year. We have an internship in the 3 sem itself for 2 weeks. By looking at the interest of our college and faculties we are sure that more than 60-70% of our institute will get placed through campus entry. I am 100% sure that I'll get placed in a reputed company.

Remarks:

This college has a wonderful campus which has all the facilities, from parking lot to cafeteria it gives a wonderful feeling of a being in a healthy environment, though this campus is a bit far place from the main city but the good thing about it is that it also very away from city noise & pollution.

A journey worth sharing

Remarks:

The only negative remark about the college is the placements happening for Mechanical Engineering students. This can be improved if someone reflects into it and try to get more companies visiting our college and hire a few students. If they manage to do the same. JCE will be the best college in the Belgaum.
