Education and Way teaching is very good and management also were very concerned

Placement Experience:

I have visited companies like wipro, tech Mahindra for campus interview and I have got 2L per annum package. I think there should to 60percent for better placement. After I got the degree I am planning to study in foreign countries

Distance from college to hostel as it is vey long

Internships Opportunities:

After 4 years of mbbs . There is a one year of internship i.e the house surgeon . After doing the internship only you will be provided the degree of mbbs and eligibility to write neet pg exam or other pg exams in abroad

I love the food of the mess , each meal , each day , each week , evry month we used to have feast of veg and non veg varieties
The hostel was good , that wasn't awesome but good and nice and comfortable, and modifications of hostel takes place monthly
I like the organisation of seniors in the hostel

Dislikes

Sometimes the electricity was poor and ..
Few times we may feel like we need better
I think that's all I could say about this hostel

Internships Opportunities:

In our college we had a lot of departments like medicine , obstetrics and gynaecology, general surgery , pediatrics , pathology , pharmacology , microbiology and a number of departments, so interns could work in there

Our Andhra medical College - pride of us

Likes

Good lectures by the professors . They are very good and teaches us with great interest. Usually they are very punctual to the classes and sometimes takes extra time if needed.
Good opportunities for growth and labs and ward postings , NCC
I love the library of our college.its a peaceful place for studying

Dislikes

Events in our college are conducted frequently
As our college was 100 years old . Infrastructure was a little old.
As our college is along with the hospital. I think it will be better if college was separate from the hospital

Internship opportunities will be given by our college itself . We are posted in KGH and VGH and various other hospitals after completion of our final year . Internship will be very learnful and good opportunity for the exposure and experience.

Nothing is disliked here , it's great college,I really admire it.

The finally the final year of this college is internship. Great clinical exposure, we can go to all departments and gain knowledge, stipend is about 20000, it is a great college for internship, good internship

Lot of patient Load ensuring Good Clinical Exposure
Experienced and Supportive Faculty, Programmes like Self directed learning, Small Group teachings etc are implemented perfectly. Mentor-Mentee program is implemented and every 3 students has a mentor.
Campus Life is good, Located in a peaceful place with no problems from external environment

Dislikes

Need some Infrastructural Developments. Lack of equipment is seen in some departments
Hostels are old and in worst condition , and need developments, Ragging is prevailing in Men's Hostel
More number of students which hinders Teacher-student relationship.

Internships Opportunities:

You have to work in KGH or in primary Health centres as MBBS Doctors or Medical officers in your 1 year compulsion rotatory internship and the salary is around 22000. There you'll get to learn about basic medical procedures.

I liked the facilities provided in my college
During internship we learn all procedure due to the availability of government hospital
Proffersors and hods teach very well and events are celebrating nicely

Dislikes

Duration of course and difficult to study
We have playground but not having any sports period
My hostel rooms are not good and hostel rent charges are high

Internships Opportunities:

Yes my college is an government college it should provide internship with package.in mbbs course internship must be provided by every college. KGH hospital in vishakapatnam should provide internship facilities to my college since the foundation of my college. During internship my government should pay 25000 every month

Good Location - Visakhapatnam, opposite Beach
Great Clinical Exposure due to heavy Patient Inflow
Good Academics, Practical Labs and Lecture Galleries

Dislikes

Infrastructure is not that great as expected
Hostel conditions are not well maintained
Tight and busy schedule with no relaxation

Internships Opportunities:

The internship is a compulsory job one has to do after completing 4.5 years of academic knowledge. Internship is very hectic and one gets very little time to relax. Pay is nominal, and is about 22500/- per month. It is a year period in different departments of the Hospital.

Amazing Location - Situated in heart of the city Visakhapatnam, opposite to the Beach.
Helpful & Encouraging Professors and Seniors
Good Sports & Cultural Activities along with Academics

Dislikes

Classrooms & Lecture Galleries are small and some of them feel like dungeons
PowerPoint Style Teaching Pattern of the Professors
Tight Schedule with almost zero relaxation

Internships Opportunities:

Every Medical Student, after passing the final professional examinations, has a serve a one-year period of clinical internship called 'House-surgency' in different government hospitals that come under the college with a stipend of 22,500/- per month. After the Internship, one is free to prepare for further studies or jobs.

Internships in medical college are provided In the final year 5th year and the stipend given to the students is around 17k per month. we get very good practical knowledge in the internship and we enjoy our whole journey in our Andhra medical college
