The faculty at the college is highly regarded for their expertise, with many being renowned doctors and alumni of the institution. They possess extensive clinical knowledge, often diagnosing cases with ease, and have been in the profession for over 30 years. The teaching approach is modern, incorporating digital tools like PowerPoint presentations and tutorials for interactive learning. Each group of 10 students is assigned a mentor to support academic performance.
The student-to-faculty ratio varies, with some reports indicating 1:20 and others 1:25, suggesting a strong faculty presence. The curriculum follows the CBME model, with a structured exam pattern including three internal exams, prefinals, and finals each year. The college conducts separate gold medal exams beyond the final university assessments. Faculty members are approachable, fostering a good relationship with students and enhancing practical learning experiences. Despite the high number of faculty, the student body is large, but programs like SGTs help maintain student-faculty engagement.
