Faculty:

There is good faculty to student ratio (1:25). Practical classes are conducted in a group of 2 or 4 as per the topic and requirements. Faculties are approachable and they help you in every way possible. If you are an introvert, couldn't approach to HOD and Associate professors, you can go with JR bhais and didis who have just cleared mbbs and understand you and your circumstances very well just like your any other seniors. There would be 3 internal (or you could say semesters) exams conducted every 2-3 months in a year and then comes your final proff exams i.e, MBE. Before final proffs, sent out list is finalised that how many students can appear the exams that is based on your attendance (75% theroy and 80% Practical) primarily and to some aspect on your performance throughout the year. Proff exams are not thay difficult to clear if you've have studied throughout and have done the previous year questions.

Faculty:

At SLN Medical College & Hospital, Koraput, the faculty-to-student ratio is manageable, ensuring that students receive individual attention and support. The faculty-student relationship is generally positive; professors are approachable and always willing to clarify doubts, which is crucial for a medical college setting. The exam structure at SLN MCH Koraput is rigorous but fair. There are regular internal assessments, along with university exams. Usually there are 3 internals every year before the final Medical Board Examination. The number of students who fail to clear the exams is relatively low. Recently the first year students have performed really well and the college ranked 4th among other medical colleges results. The PG results are usually remarkable from the SLN MCH. The course curriculum is quite relevant to the current medical field, and it is regularly updated to keep up with new medical advancements. While some areas could benefit from more practical exposure, the curriculum does provide a solid foundation for medical students, preparing them well for both exams and real-world medical practice.

Faculty:

The faculties are very good and highly educated. There are a very good amount of faculties consisting of professor, assistant professor, associate professor, senior and junior residents for all the 19 subjects of MBBS. All the faculties are good and I like all of them. There are around 3 internal exams every year in a span of 3-4 months between each of them. And at the end of every academic year we have our professional medical boards, which is conducted by the university.
