Koppal Institute of Medical Sciences Faculty

The college comprises 20 departments, each typically having one professor, 2 associate professors, 2-3 assistant professors, and several tutors. Most faculty members hold MBBS and MD qualifications, with a mix of experienced and newly joined doctors. Each department has a Head of Department (HOD), except for 3-4 departments. Clinical departments also include junior and senior residents.

Teaching staff is considered adequate, with around 4-5 educators per subject. Faculty members are supportive and accessible during college hours, offering mentorship and encouraging independent learning. Students primarily undergo final exams conducted by RGUHS, complemented by internal assessments that aid in concept comprehension.
