It is a very good college. The admission process and steps involving are very easy. You have to fill an application form after which a merit list is published where you can say whether a person has got selection.

I pursued B.A in sociology from Gargaon College and it was an overall great experience to talk here. Not only the infrastructure is well, but I got to study under some of the brilliant faculty members that made my graduation days excellent.

I am doing my B.A in Sociology from this institute and I am greatly pleased with my college experience here. Not only getting admission was easy but I am glad that my college comes with well-structured infrastructure and with very helpful faculty which is again great. Therefore I can conclude that my overall experience is going great here.

Truly speaking i have never seen such college or never have heard about where you feel like home. Here teachers are more like friends and friends become more like family. We were kept motivating in the form of sessions and seminars. They take lots of efforts in empowering us all.

I enjoyed my life to the fullest when i was in this college because these are the only days which remind you of your memories with friends, teachers, fun, etc and especially when you are at best hands. I can never forget the picnics and trips i had here.

I have an interest in mathematics and finance since my childhood. So after 12th I decided to do B.Com. I visited the different colleges but the one I liked the most was The Gargaon College,Assam. Hence I decided to take my admission in Gurgaon college. The admission process is depend upon merit basis and merit list published according to this. I secured good marks in 12th so I was in the first merit list and I admitted in The Gargaon College.

The eligibility criteria for our college is based primarily on merit. All the students who had commerce in class 12th can apply for the course. After the application is submitted one has to submit the required documents and the admission is granted.

My selection in this college was based on my marks that I scored in twelfth standard. I am from Commerce stream. My percentage in intermediate were 72, computer science was my additional subject. Then after filling the form of the university, I received a mail stating I got admission.

I secured admission in this college via merit list. I had to email an application replete with my details and marksheets to the administration. The B.Sc course takes only 300 students per batch and I was overjoyed when I saw my name on the first list.

Gargaon is a quite a celebrated college in the North-Eastern state of Assam. I come from a different state and while applying for the B.A English degree, I had to submit my 10+2 marks for review. They take 663 students in the B.A course and if you feature in the merit list, you get admission.
