life in gls college

Likes

I liked the professors they are well educated
The environment in college is really good
The college holds alot of events and gives alot of opportunities

Dislikes

College timing is really early , the first lecture starts at 7:15
The College doesn't have compulsory attendance
The college benches are not soo good , really uncomfortable

Course Curriculum Overview:

I opted for this course just for graduation purpose after that i will be doing LLB , i opted for b.com in this college because the study pressure isn't that much so i can focus on my LLB studies and other activities

Likes

Large space for parking our two wheelers in the campus and very supportive parking staff as well.
Good quality of food in the canteen.Also canteen is decently good sized with a good ventilation service.
Large sizes of classrooms with good air conditioners in every room with facility of smart class as well

Dislikes

college doesnt provide with the hardcopy of the study materials students get the pdf of their respective courses.
less college activities especially realted to sports.
college does not have h large campus it should have a good campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

bcom hons is very flexible course for me. I wanted to prepare for some competetive exams along with my college course and hence this course was found to be most suitable for atleast me. various important subjects like accounting taxation communications are taught under this course.

Everything about GLS

Likes

The teachers are very nice and understand student if they have any problem and very helpful
Their is no ragging at all and the seniors are very good and helpful
Our college Dean is also good and speak very nicely to every student and understand the problems of student and help them

Dislikes

The fees of this course is very high performance semester which i think that should be decreased
The campus is very small and their is nothing just a parking which is also not enough according to number of students
Their is no playground and the campus and canteen is also very small which is not sufficient according to number of students

Placement Experience:

If you passed the 4th sem it means 2nd year you are eligible for the placements and reputed companies come to college for placements like ICICI SBI and etc and the placements is according to your academics results you extra curricular activities your internships and knowledge about the course and out of the course about any other field you are interested

A journey of GLS

Likes

I liked the most is faculty of this college, all professors are really good and helpful for the students.
I like co curricular activities of this college, students gets various choices for the participation of any type of sports, cultural activities.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester students are eligible for the placements. Various companies are visited the campus like TCS, Godrej, HDFC bank, ICICI prudential, etc. average package is approx between 3 to 4 lakh per annum. I plan to pursue MBA after my bcom Hons.

My thoughts about GLS University

Likes

The facilities of college very good each class have minimum of 4 Ac but students attendence is very low
Campus Life is also good ya it's a bit small campus but if you have good environment around you can enjoy it
The Faculties are very helpful and are friendly to students is the best thing I Liked

Dislikes

The timings of lectures are not fixed don't know why?
It's an private college so the placement chances are very low there are too many students in one class
During exam time there is lot of problem of parking and there was only one ground in whole University where they are constructing new Building

Course Curriculum Overview:

Bcom(Hons) is a dual specialization course in which one is accounts and another one you can choose by your own i.e Banking, Management, Finance, and Taxation. As of now I completed 2 years and the course is not that much hard id you prepare seriously you can understand it easily

SMPIC College- An overall grooming experience

Likes

All the faculties of the college are very supportive
The college has great opportunities and also has alot of great activities beside from studying
The college provides students with alot of great exposure with field and industrial trips.

Dislikes

i did not like the college campus, it is big but still very less space for parking
i did not like the assignment system of the college, they gave alot of assignments and all of them had to be handwritten

Placement Experience:

the college conducts campus interviews and many companies visit the campus and many students get offer letters from the companies. generally companies like TCS offer roles like back office executive or data analyist or tele caller. the average package according to my knowledge is i think 3.6-4LPA. The college gives a 100% support to the students in terms of campus placement as well as outside job interviews. The faculties help students with the interview training.

Likes

The alumini network is very great and strong,
The fest conducted are very good and enjoyable
The faculty's are well trained and experienced.

Dislikes

The campus is not upto the mark and is very small in size
There are sports ground in the college for the college sports team
The canteen food is very unhygienic which makes eating in college a bad experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is well planned and thought out. This curriculum makes us ready for the real world and greatly helps is choosing the carrer ahead. The faculty's are very experienced in their field and have knowledge outside their working-profession which greatly helps in choosing our future paths. Exsms are conducted a at every semester end and are quite easy to crack.

There is big campus and nice faculty good cleaning staffing. Campus are always clean
The canteen facility in campus is very necessary and good the infrastructure of the campus is very good.
The placements of college is nice and career making

Dislikes

The canteen food is not so good but then also it is eatable.
The time of the college is too early for all the students
They should do more extra curricular activities from now onwards.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is well and good the faculty members are also nice to students always. I choose B.Com because there is a wide scope after B.com in my career. The faculty always treat students nice and good. The qualification of the faculty is very good because they are well qualified and their teaching methods are so nice. The exam is in every 6 months and there are not so difficult if the student has attended all the lectures.

Faculty of Commerce : A detailed Report

Placement Experience:

After 6th-semester exams get over a WhatsApp group is made for placements wherein details are sent by the faculty of the college. Certain companies like ICICI Prudential, Tradebulls, HDFC Bank, etc were providing placements. The highest package offered for around 6 lacs and the average package was around 2.5 lacs per annum. Around 25% of students got placements.
