There are scholarships available for students based on their merits.
College staff was there available when we need any help regarding admission .
The faculty members are great at their work, and create a very friendly environment.

Dislikes

Poor Elevator facility. And confusing infrastructure
The college is located a little far from mainland Mumbai, making it difficult for students living in Central and Western side to travel on a daily basis.
At the college was affiliated to Mumbai university so things were disorganized

I like the college campus most coz pillai college has huge campus
Pillai college has the best event held in navi mumbai named as alegria
Pillai college has good canteen and canteen staff is also nice and good quality food they provide

Dislikes

Thier is nothing to dislike in pillai college
Thier is nothing that i didnt like in pillai college pcacs

Placement Experience:

Pillai College has the best placement cell. Many companies from IT sectors, come to Pillai College or offering placements. Students can apply from fifth and sixth and placements in BSCIT. my plans after graduation degree to take masters degree

Pillai collage bfm review

Likes

Campus is great with a good library which have all the books of BCOMFM from 1 year to 3 year
The teacher are great and supportive and most then have PHD
You can get attendance concession if your in sports or professional exam for sports 30% attendance is required for professional exam 50% attendance is required

Dislikes

Batch mate are not serious about study and don't know why they really opted for bfm
Cigarette shop outside the campus with should be allowed but it's still there

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is modern not outdated I can't really say curriculum prepare for real world application as this thing also can be learnt from blog , video for free improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods is there but it's of no use when students take it for granted

Good environment in collage, collage have good auditorium faculties are good supportive help students to solve the problem
College staff is where humble for students help them in any situation
Principal is also best who always help students

Dislikes

In this days students dont know communication skills how to talk or behave
Teachers are not making groups in clg for projects because of that student have to choose they are partner in rhis case few students don’t get group rhen they have to do project all alone
In college i saw they’re to many lonely kids who are finding growth,good friendships but they don’t get

Pillai college

Likes

I like the vibe in college like it's always energetic.
The campus vibes are more enjoyable and also the classes that are allocated to diff streams
The faculties are good enough to teach the concepts

Dislikes

The electricity management like it turn off often
The lift management is very bad they are mostly stucked somewhere
We can't play on ground too often they are allocated to the players of college team

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is available and it is pretty much better than others .College gives better opportunity to students to learn their best in the academic years and be the best person. The college has in campus placements for the students every year and almost 80% students are allocated with it

Likes

Infrastructure, campus, were top notch..
Timings were great. Student oriented full of life with studies
High standards as college life for sure..

Dislikes

Too much of events and crowd is mostly busy eith that
Not everyone is okah with sooo and there are pepole with multiple backgrounds soo
And giving the authority to the students irrest

Placement Experience:

After 4th sem you are eligible for placements.. TCS Wipro Hexaware Concentrix Were the major comoanies... 50% of the students got placed.. Highest package was 17 lacs per annum whereas the lowest was 3 lacs.. which was fair enough

Vibrant campus life at Pillai College.

Likes

First one being the campus life at the college.
Second is the social environment at the college.
Faculty members are very cooperative with the students.

Dislikes

Library though the library has enough books but still it can improve in updating it.
Wi-Fi connectivity can be poor at times.
Though the faculty members are very helpful but still it can improve it’s communication with students.

Placement Experience:

The BCom accounting and finance at Pillai college of arts commerce and science offers placements ranging from 70%-90% with the highest salary package being ?8-12 lakhs per annum and the lowest salary package being ?3-5 lakhs per annum most of the students go for placement interviews.

Knowing pillai college

Likes

There are numbers of extra curricular activities
The sports events are taken very seriously in college
A very active placement cell, which provides internship for students kn vacation

Dislikes

Too much crowd as there are too many courses offered in college
Holidays are very much limited and once sem is over you have to compulsory do some courses
The poor management of college during big events

Course Curriculum Overview:

The practical sessions are the sessions where i feel I really learn something other than just looking at books and board. Every subject gives a CA2 project which we are supposed to submit till the given date. Those projects which we do are very informative We learn how these services are used in real-world.

The majestic college ever -Pillai college

I liked the college atmosphere and the crowd is soo humble for the FY students
I liked the college event happening in the college

Dislikes

I dislike one thing is that the college give us quick exam timing
There some aspects that college should provide some facilities for the handicapped students

I appreciated the diversity of extracariculam. activities, the focus on holistic development, and the opportunity to explore various fields through electives and workshops.the administration is supportive.
I was actively involved in various campus activities, including students club,sports, and cultural events. This engagements allowed me to form meaningful connections with peers and faculty, and develop leadership and teamwork skills.
The faculty members were highly knowledgeable in their respective fields. Many teachers took a genuine interest in students development, offering guidance for both personally and academically.

Dislikes

Some areas need to be improvement near reception area fee counter
DSO certificate is compulsory for sports selection. But it need to be for all students to get selection chance for respective sports.
Little bit lift problems should be improved by college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Bsc Computer science curriculum at pillai college follows the guidelines set by University of Mumbai.But it is a autonomous college, it provides a understanding of core computer science, including programming languages, database, algorithms, data structures and web technologies. Languages are Java, python,c++,DBMS, Adbms, html,css, javascript, R programming, linux, networking, data science and many more related to IT CS fields. While course provides a good base in computer science field to get jobs easily in future. Also AI and ML they taught and teach how the background of that field.

Vibrant and balancing practical learning with campus life at Pillai college

Likes

Campus life : the college offers various clubs and extracurricular activities that enhances social engagement though participation levels may vary
Infrastructure: campus is well maintained featuring modern amenities like computer labs, library, sports facilities.
Faculty: is knowledgeable and approachable and provides good mentorship but some students feel that certain subjects could benefit from engaging teaching methods.

Dislikes

Student support: while there are support system in place, but some students feel that career counselling could be more robust
Crowd and ratio: the college has mixed crowd but some reports higher number of male students. The girls to boys ratio is 1:3 but this can vary by the program
Social life : while social life exists, a more vibrant campus life is desired by many students

Course Curriculum Overview:

Baf curriculum at Pillai college is relevant and practically designed to provide a strong foundation in finance, accounting and business management. I chose this course due to emphasis on real world applications.
