Course Curriculum Overview:

A comprehensive biology curriculum would include not only the study of different organisms but also the underlying mechanisms of life processes,genetics, and ecological interactions. If a computer science course focuses heavily on outdated programming languages while neglacting current industry standards,it might be considered lacking in relevance.

True reasons for opting CGC.

Likes

There are very frequent industrial visits and educational trips arranged for the students. These trips help to know about companies and the working environments which is necessary for the students during the placements
Social interaction: there are no issues such as ragging, all the students are very cooperative and helpful as well as friendly in nature.
TPP lectures: these are for the placement preparation. 3 lectures Aptitude, verbal and technical skills. The teachers interact with students and solve the queries.

Dislikes

Sometimes there are issues in lab computers that they do not work properly due to which lab lectures are wasted.
There is a lot of gap days between the final exams of PTU. There are only 4 subjects and the exams span is about a month.
Fees is too high for middle class people, also there is deadline for students to pay the fees. Additional charges are also added sometimes like for freshers party and parivartan event.

Placement Experience:

In 5th semester the students are eligible for the placements and many companies like TCS, Wipro, The Mathco. , Cognizant are among that visit the campus for placements. Upto 26 LPA is the package offered by them and i plan to take placement from the campus.

my best collage cgc

Likes

Faculty of collage was vary good and higlhy educated
Labortories were very good andlab work was done very efficientpy
Campus was good eveyone were freindly and good

Dislikes

Parking is not good

Placement Experience:

from 2nd semester students are eligible for college placements percentage criteria is not for placements highest package in our course is around 6 lacs per year my plan after getting degree is to work in a reputed company

I liked the vibe of the college very much. It is mixture of tricity people and other cities also from which we can learn alot from each other as well

Dislikes

The thing I disliked about the college was the blocks were very far away for which we have to attend the lectures at different classrooms which becomes very hectic for the students.

Placement Experience:

The placements are one of the top most priority by the college. Every year more then 30 renowned companies comes to the college for hiring the students for their betterment as well as look very well in the students future settlement.

CGC (CCT) Landran - all that you want to know

Likes

Well equipped laboratory: experiments are performed nicely and lab attendants are also supportive
Canteens are a lot. So have fun with your friends
Faculty is quite knowledgeable and experienced

Dislikes

I personally didn't liked Some teachers. Well, this happens everywhere we go ,so don't worry much.
During placements, mostly sales company come instead of you subject related
Hostel foods are not much hygiene. Once a rat was found in food

Placement Experience:

Highest package offered for bsc biotechnology students was about 6-7 lakhs. Average placement is of 3-3.5 lakhs. Biotechnology companies come for placement but sales company gives most placement in my year.

As we all know that Chandigarh group of colleges is famous for its placements. Every year a big no. of students got placed in big companies like Wipro, tata consultancy services, byju's, Infosys, and many more.

Remarks:

As per my view this College is awesome. It gives great placement opportunities and also give opportunities for internship in foreign countries. Faculties are very helpful and well qualified. It has lush green campus.
