Mathematics department is great. teaching style of our teachers are so helpful.
I also get the inspire scholarship and swami vivekananda merit cum scholarship.
Our college campus is so well,and well decorated by many flower and other things.there are a beautiful garden that delight us.in our midnapore college libary there are seventeen five plus books in libary.

Dislikes

Surroundings area was not so good. Some Students are very bad

The college has very good environment for studies

Likes

The environment of the college is very calm and composed.
The teachers are very helpful in our studies
Good infrastructure of the classroom, library and labs

Dislikes

More sports activities can be added to relax a bit
Teaching methods needs to be improved by some of the teachers
Timing of the college is not very good as morning and day section are there

I love the subject so that's why I chose this course. The curriculum prepares me very much in the real world applications or further academic pursuits, the teachers need to be more friendly and more detailed in the teaching.the exam are very much difficult for the course.

Midnapore City College, Paschim Medinipur has a Placement Cell that organises various placement related courses like BMLT, BHM, BBA, MCA.etc. and you also get 100% scholarship.The course fees is also affordable compared to other colleges. And Good internships are Also done.

Friendly Behaviour of Teaching and Non teaching staffs.
Availability of lots of books in the college library.
Online corner in the library which allows economically unstable people to access the vast area.

Dislikes

Assignment structure is too old needs to be more engaging.
Placement package is a little lesser but if compared to fees structure it's enough.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is offered in my degree program, BCA. If prepared with dedication one can easily get a package in companies like TCS,etc. Our seniors have secured good salary package and good experience so that they can advance much more.

An Excellent Journey of My BSc Electronics Course

Likes

Lab is very good. There are computer labs and circuit labs. Due to less students (5-10), each student gets an individual computer for the computer lab, and an individual set of instruments.
So each student has a very good chance to learn all the practical in hand instead of doing practical in a group.
All necessary books are available in the central library.

Dislikes

In our department there are no Wi-Fi facilities.
The departmental library is too small. There are very few books.
In my opinion the BSc Electronics course does not make students industry ready.

Placement Experience:

In my batch there are only 5 students. After completing the course 3 students doing MSc Electronics, 1 student doing MBA, and 1 one student doing MBBS from government college. Top recruiting companies are TCS, WIPRO, ACCENTURE etc. The average package is 5 LPA.

Likes

Great learning experience and good professors in the college
Very well established environment and clean and tidy classrooms
Great laboratory and fine accessories to help students research better

Dislikes

The College should do something about huge syllabus
Should give more Holidays to students to study at home
Very strict regarding education and should be lenient where it needs to be

The course is very relevant for today's world because the world is constantly evolving and very very very important for the students to help the society with biotechnology and bioinformatics that they learn in the course.

My college experience

Likes

Co-operative faculty members with good facilities
Campus is always clean and every building is well maintained with weekly cleaning
Teachers are always co-operative and tries their best to help with doubts. other classmates are also always helpful.

Dislikes

Takes a little too much time for certificates issue and other faculty related things
Some buildings outside the campus are not that well taken care of
Canteen needs to more clean and distance between each office should be less

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose sociology as it has many scopes for job even as a humanities subject. first this course allows you to do research and get to know about social problems. other than sociology every B.A. course has its advantage some subjects can be taken for upsc preparation including sociology.

Likes

Teachers are good. Classroom are decent.
There is a basket-ball coat and a good canteen.
Library is good. There is a good study room.

Dislikes

Lab is not well maintained. Half of the systems are not work properly.
Classes are not conducted regularly in CS department.
You can get only one book at a time from library.

Placement Experience:

The placement record is moderate in the college. In this year Accenture came for campusing. The packege is varying between 1.9 LPA to 2.5 LPA. Approx 20-30 students get placed in 2024 season from B.Sc cs and BCA department.

BCA at Midnapore College: An honest Review

Likes

I like the friendliness of the teachers and their helping nature.
The things which were taught in the class was the syllabus for the exam most of the time.

Dislikes

Few teachers were very much adamant and wanted to earn by taking tuitions.
There is no coding culture in the college.

Placement Experience:

Almost 20 to 25% of the students got placed with the average package of 3 lpa. Shiv company that visited the campus are Accenture, Sentientgeeks. Student also got up campus with TCS and Deloitte. Many also got MCA program in reported colleges like Delhi University, Jadavpur University and Kalyani Government engineering College.

Midnapore college is the best college and I am proud of it .

That is no ragging college , which suits me most . Here all students are come from topping in school . So healthy competition is going in between the students which increase the readings power of students.
The practical class going on daily , there are very good libraries, all books are available. The college is found of sports also . No outside people like MLA , mp are not do anything in the college.
This college has top faculties, specially in Chemistry. The chemistry department of our college is all indian knows . Here senior are helpful as well as our teachers .

Dislikes

There is no such dislike for the college . There need some improvement like more dr. Teacher needed in the college . Funding should be increased .
This college requires a medical facility .
The college need more space in campus . And try give more noticed on placement area .

Placement Experience:

6th Sem students are eligible for campussing. Here vedanta , TCS are came for campussing , they made 300000 annum offer . The highest package is offered by TCS of 450000 annum and average package are 250000 - 300000 . 25% students get direct placement from the college. . My plan after doing BSC is to give jam exam and complete my master degree from IIT or NIT .

My college professors are so good,they are give me comfort zone.
Campus are so good,so many trees are the our campus.
Very popular college,and recent NIRF rank in our college is 32,so it is proud of our all students.

Dislikes

Lift is not use for the student,so it is very tuff for every day and our department is 4th floor.
Drinking water is not available for all time.
Exam schedule are so first, other university and college.

No specific aspects of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course. Regular class and good teaching is necessary for the student development. Yes,per semester given 6 month's but our college give 4/5 months.
