The MATHEMATICS Department of Lokanayak Omeo Kumar Das College (LOKD) college has a faculty of four teachers three of them are permanent and one is on contractual basis.Head of the Department is Bharat Jyoti Baruah.No internship and No placement takes place

This is the main problem in our college placement is very poor. No major companies visited us yet. Major students of major percentage go for higher studies in various universities.
