the campus life is the most amazing part of this college as the campus is very big .The classrooms are aslo quite big enough to fit 100 students in that room and all the class rooms are made with sound proof material, so there will be no disturbance at all.

The environment of the college is is very eco-friendly, with lots of trees and fresh air. Infrastructure is also good but needs lots of improvement. In the library, you can get a peaceful experience, there are lots of books for you. Extracurricular activities are not so good and need lots of improvement. There are many literature societies that are are run by students.

There is only girl hostel is available in our locality college LOKD and hostel is good for girl cctv and security guard always available.

Lokanayak Omeo Kumar Das College host many extracurricular activities. recently they organize youth festival under GAUHATI UNIVERSITY.there is no labs for mathematics department.but there are labs for zoology botany physics and chemistry.and many more.there is a indoor complex also.

I am the local person so I am residing in any hostel although I know some friend of mine staying in pgs and hostel. Our college has only one girl's hostel. So obviously boys have pgs. Pgs are affordable most of them keep good quality food and recognized a good environment for study. Hostel which is of girls hostel is good as many of the lady professors study theirs as warden. All though I heard once about the food in the hostel was given of poor quality. But now the cook has been changed.

In our college there is a canteen one boys common room & one girls common room i think this sufficient for all student of loko nayak omeo kumar das college our canteen is good where we can get food in good quality.
