The overall social life at NIFT was pretty great. There are a couple of clubs that you could be a part of like cultural, sports, literary, etc. There is a lot of party culture as well and the social club tries their best with creative ideas of programs. Moreover the juniors and seniors share a great bond as well.

Infrastructure is descent, clubs are active all the time, I'm in cultural club and there are frequent events happening so the club is always busy, and there also other clubs social media, environment etc

Campus also brings in lots of opportunities. Like there is GEO AND GEM, and also sometimes brands like Red Bull, Reebok and Westside, royal enfield come to campus for organizing activities. Those are really fun. And also sports events too.

So , choosing good loyal friends is very important in the college especially when your living in hostel or rented houses with roommates or alone , you'll always need a shoulder to lay on and support you and plays a major role in overall experience in the college no matter what department they're in but be friends with everybody too don't hold grudges and all . There are club activities too that includes cultural, sports , photography, social media, social ethics, environment . You can choose any club you want and it's always the students handling the clubs so it's free to give ideas to your club president or secretary. Many books are available in the library you can visit any time for studying there .. there are various of celebrations in our college sports you can take part and more and more enjoyable moments... Always just try to take part in such activities because it will fresh up your mind with the countless sleepless nights of assignment ..

The annual college fest is called SPECTRUM which is the most anticipated celebration by every student and faculty alike. Even the festival celebrations are done for every occasion in a very grand manner. There are several clubs like culture, photography, ethics, environment, etc, which all consist of students who are extremely passionate about their causes.

Nift has two feet annually one is spectrum held at every even semester and one is converge held odd of every semester. Spectrum is a fest held in a college campus whereas converge changes from comp is to campus depending on the year. It's a fun challenging experience for students to increase their horizons and gain experience.

All the major festivals including Holi, diwali, Pongal, onam, lohri, dussehra, etc are celebrated with full enthusiasm. Students participate with great interest and the entire campus gets decorated beautifully during the festivities. The library is well equipped with books for every field we need as design students. I have never had to face the disappointment of not finding the right book I was looking for. The library stays open till 8 pm giving students enough time to cater their needs. Sports are also given importance in our college. The campus has a basketball court and volleyball court of its own. There are a lot of interesting student clubs like the photography club, literature club, social service club, cultural club, etc led by an elected student council. Overall the campus life is pretty well balanced.

There are three main clubs in the college and each one of them has some faculty member as their head. Various art competitions are held and any student can participate in most of them. There is a range of various different books and journals in the library. We are also given links and passwords to some online libraries by the faculty.

We have an annual fest named ORENDA conducted in the month of February. Different types of books and journals are available in the library. We have all the basic amenities which is required in the classroom. Different kinds of sports are played inside the campus like badminton, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, etc. There are different clubs such as literary club, sports club, drama club, etc.
