Placement Experience:
Most companies visiting the college are IT-based. Not many well-known brands visit the college although the brochure speaks otherwise. Students are supposed to get through via pool campus drives. The only companies visiting the college are mediocre and half of the time, the offer letter doesn't reach the student even after getting selected. The college also has a history of bringing fake companies during campus drives. The average placement rate is 60-70% but some of them don't receive the offer letter and most get salaries much lower than that was mentioned during interviews. The placement cell is not good. So I would advise looking for other colleges. The alumni networking is moderate. This year, a pass out student came for recruitment for the company in which he works. But the students didn't get an offer letter even after being selected so it's a different story. There was an entrepreneurship cell in the college lead by Arindom Sir but it collapsed within a year after sir left the college. I myself was part of the E-cell and I believe it failed mostly because the members weren't competent enough.
