A student perspective of life at St. Aloysius

Likes

The college conducts daily assembly and encourages students to participate in programs, which helps in personality development of the child and improved public speaking and no stage fear
The professor and faculty staff are all very supportive have good knowledge of their subjects teaching methods are very good and the college follows it's curriculum very sincerely
Every student is provided a personal mentor with whom he or she can share all the problems related to the college the course or even the personal problems

Dislikes

For courses like B.tech the placement is not very good here compared to other college in the city
The campus is located in the outskirts of the city so the city life is not very good, there are shops and canteen located in the campus but outside the campus the shops are very far and the campus is not well connected to the main city
The hostels are available for both boys and girls but you have to come back to the hostel before 6 pm. After 6 in the evening no one is allowed to go out or come in

Admission:

I applied to Delhi University which is a national level university, I got accepted but I choose this college over DU because of one simple reason that is it's in my home city so I will be close to home, also the course I chose is a integrated course so I will have two degrees at the end of the course, i also considered other colleges in the city but no other colleges had this integrated BSc BEd course so my ultimate option was to go with this college, you can not compare this college to DU or other national university but in jabalpur it is a good choice. But for Btech i would suggest you go for other colleges like Global or Gyan Ganga. Addmission process was easy you first have to register in e pravesh portal of MP government then the choice filling part then if you get selected you will be allotted a help centre college where you will have to go and submit your documents and a fees of 5000 something which is included in the tution fees. Then you will have to go to the college and fill a offline form and select your subject combination pay a addmission fees of 4000 then your addmission will be confirmed

Architecture of our college is very good. College Campus Architecture is inspiring environment for learning.
The Campus maintains with regular cleaning ensuring a hygienic and pleasant environment. This dedication to cleanliness enhances the overall campus experience, making it a safe and welcoming place for everyone.
Overall, our college architecture and cleanliness significant contribution to a vibrant, dynamic, and comfortable academic experience

Dislikes

Lack of hackathons and events. There are very few opportunities for students to particate in hackathons and events, which are crucial for hands on learning and skill development. There is inadequate support for students
No smart boards. The absence of smart board in classrooms. in our college they are not using smart boards for better understanding the lessons and leaning experience will be different
No placements. The College does not provide sufficient placements support, making it challenging for students to secure to secure jobs after graduation. Faculty Quality is very bad. they should improve.

Admission:

I Choose Btech in Computer Science. I got the admission through jee mains score card. Actually I apply mp counselling through jee score card. There is no reservation benefits for me. As I am general student. just got my adddmission through jee score card Even our college is giving direct addmission also. Those who want addmission they can contact any facuty. Very easy to get admission I suggest to college. dont take students from village background and those who have less percentage. Actually our college is focusing on SC/ST students. because they are getting scholarship. If educated students makes college better.

College premise- all are very systematic and very well maintained
College Canteen- almost all the snacks are available in canteen and in a very balance amount. The snacks in canteen are also so tasty to eat.
