For better opportunities and to increase the payscale to 2-3 times you have to appear for NEET -PG and do post-graduation. All the students after completing the 4 Proff exams (theory+practical) go into an internship which is a Mandatory part of the MBBS degree. You just study for these 5.5 years (including internship where you will again be paid) and then wuhhu you have got your degree and you are ready to serve the nation.

Mandatory internship has to completed from the college. During internship a sum of around 32000 is provided to the interns monthly. We get an exposure on all the subjects in which I can do a postgraduation and provides a good opportunity to decide which stream I want to choose as a speciality. It also provides good clinical exposure on various opds and wards and operative procedures.

As it is a medical college there is very good scope of getting a job. We start earning from the year of internship.Thereafter we can continue our job as house staff.There is a very good scope of getting job in other hospitals.
