Life at PSG iTech

Likes

They offer a very good college infrastructure like neat classrooms, Air Conditioned seminar halls, abundant labs, wifi, canteen, indoor/outdoor playground, top security, transport, etc
They conduct a lot of workshops, seminars and other certified courses to enrich the students’s knowledge
A very friendly and well organized faculties who are an expertise in the field.

Dislikes

Admission:

I was admitted into PSGiTech via the Tamil Nadu State Board Counseling. The average cutoff to get into this college would be 80/100. This college was my preferred one during the counselling, because of the reputation and the exposure that the PSG institution has/ provides.

I really love the Infrastructure that they are maintaining inside the city with less place
I really loved the facilities that they are providing to the students to get the skills out from then
And the mist thing the food in canteen is so good

In my department there is some outstanding facilities in my college or available and I don't have any option I just choose PSG College of technology in that department in the placements they are offering is so more than you know for the students that the reason why i choose the college

My journey at PSG

Likes

Excellent placement training and opportunities
Friendly staff and teaching. Faculties are ready to assist us anytime
Good lab facilities and we can use any lab even for our own educational purposes

Dislikes

Hostel facility is not upto the fee collected
Since teaching staffs are appointed as warden, to get sign in the leave form it's very difficult to find them in the campus and get sign
Very long college hours and mostly no holiday will be given on Saturday

Admission:

Apart from this college, i had also applied to kpr Institute. But considering the college reputation and better placement opportunities, i opted in for psg. There are two ways in which you can get admission in this college. One is through government councilling and other via management quota. If you are applying through management quota, then there will an entrance exam and the minimum cutoff should be above 175

It's totally a worth college for students life

Likes

Both staffs and students are so friendly
College maintenance is very neat and clean
Placements are very very very good 100% placement

Dislikes

Study pressure is little bit high for our goods
Cultural are quite low when compared to other colleges

I applied to anna university and others small college like SRM , rmk etc. but I got psgitech through government counseling for my 12 standard percentage. All courses are preferable in my college it's give knowledge for students

My college has a excellent infrastructure and facilities.
The sanitary facilities of the college is remarkable and the restrooms are always clean and neat.
The environment is peaceful since the atmosphere is greenish and silent.

Dislikes

The opportunities given for sports persons by the physical director is questionable.
The culturals and importance to such activities are less.
Other than studies and placement there's nothing much.

Admission:

The admission is based on the cut off of the students. For government quota the students must have secured 194+ for main stream courses such as ece eee csc ai&ds and csbs. Where as for mech and civil 180+ is required for government quota. On the other hand for management quota the students must have secured 188+ cutoff and there is no entrance or donation seats are filled based on the students cut off.

Life at PSG iTech

Likes

Our college has good study environment as well as extracurricular. We have approximately 31 clubs
Our college has a very good infrastructure. Labs and classrooms are so good
Our college provides good placements of 9LPA on average to 42LPA maximum

Dislikes

I felt Campus could have been much bigger

Admission:

My cutoff was 193 and I got this college through TNEA. There's also a management quota in our college. But you also need good cutoff to get this college. If you're a general category and you want to get seat in ECE through TNEA, you should have min 195 cutoff

All about PSG iTech

Likes

Hostel food and facilities.The Hostel is always neat and clean.
Labs assistants have a friendly manner .
Faculties are easy to talk and approach.We can share our difficulties to tutors inorder to overcome them.

Dislikes

Classes starts from 8.30 a.m. and ends at 4.45 p.m.

Admission:

There will be no entrance exam for TNEA counseling students. My cutoff was 191.5 and got an EEE course in this college in 2022. The cutoff may vary for the current year. So check the PSG iTech official website for cut-off details.

Well spaceous play grounds that helps the sports persons to take training
Safety precautions are available in the college

Admission:

The admission process is through government councilling and management quota. There is no entrance examination. The cut off or all course should be above 188.9 . Eligibility of the course is to complete 12th standard After you short listed in government councilling,the facilities from the college will send a WhatsApp group link and all the application process is send by them

Honest review of psg itech

Since anna university portion was outdated. Psg itech provided value added course
Placement training was provided from the first year
Teachers are very friendly and well knowledge.

Dislikes

Colleges timing 8.30 to 4.45 more time college consumes
Girls are not allowed to anywhere after 6.30 pm even inside campus.
In canteen minimum no of egg puffs are prepared

Admission:

The eligibility cut -off should be more than 197. If it is management more than 190 is sufficient for reservation people. The overall admission process was quite good with a good cutoff. Applications will be provided in TNEA which EE needs to be shown to PSG administration for registration.

Honest Review of PSG College

Likes

Hell lot of freedom for boys you can roam wherever you want between 8:00am_9:30pm beyond which you need to have decent negotiation skills to convince the warden . however saturdays are free night where you dont have any restrictions
Decent club activities you have pretty good clubs , Decent lab facilities this is one of the best colleges in India (and stats tell that) most importantly , college is well connected to both Railway station (5_6kms from railway station) and airport.
Decent professors in PSG There are exceptions for sure but most of them are pretty friendly more over their behavior depends on you too. Choice of electives you have wide range of electives to choose this is an unique aspect which i liked about PSG

Dislikes

Girls on the other hand are imposed stringent restrictions but it is much better than few colleges like Amritha, VIT in that aspect
College needs to conduct proper fests like Rivera , mood indigo etc... Professors should improve on their communication skills so that it will be helpful for the non native folks
Placements are pretty skewed . only CSE , IT , EEE , ECE have decent placements. College needs to work on its extra curricular activities by including few more.

Admission:

The admission process is done through online TNEA counseling , application form for tnea counseling starts between march and april, the application fees is rs_5000 which is the deposit amount and it is decreased in college fees , eligibility of this course is 12th pass in 10,+2 or equivalent course.
