PSG Institute of Technology and Applied Research (PSG iTech) offers both undergraduate and postgraduate programs and admits students based on entrance exams and academic merit. The institute is affiliated with Anna University and provides popular courses like B.E./B.Tech and M.E./M.Tech in various specialisations.

For the B.E./B. Tech programs, which have a duration of 4 years, offer admissions in 7 disciplines, including Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, and Computer Science and Business Systems. Admission to these courses is determined primarily through the TNEA counselling process and based on marks obtained in Class 12 exams (accepted boards include CBSE and Tamil Nadu State Board).

To be eligible, candidates must have completed 10+2 with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks. The total tuition fee for the B.E./B. Tech course is INR 2,20,000. Selection is strictly merit-based, and students who meet the eligibility and cutoff criteria are invited for counselling and further admission formalities.

Application Process

For the further selection process, they must undergo TNEA Counselling. Below is the application process for TNEA Counselling.

• Visit the Anna University website, fill out the registration form for TNEA. A fee will be charged, which has to be paid online.
• Fill out the application carefully. In case any detail is incorrect or incomplete, the candidate’s application can be rejected.
• Take out a printout of the application form and send a copy to the Director of Admissions at Anna University.
• After the merit list is declared, candidates have to download the counselling call letter and visit the counselling venue with the necessary documents and a demand draft of 5,000 INR.
• After documentation, an allotment order will be handed to the applicant, and the counselling fee has to be paid.
• To confirm the admission, the candidate has to report to their college and submit the allotment order.
