KES Law College - a step towards your legal journey

Likes

Faculty is good. The teachings staff is approachable any time you want. They are well educated and most of them hold doctrate degrees.
The college has a canteen which offers good food at very nominal price
The campus is aur conditioned and every classroom is well designed to accommodate a batch of 80 students at once.

Dislikes

The non teaching staff or the visiting faculty is not approachable by the students.
The college doesn't have a uniform, which most law colleges have to maintain the ethics.
The timings of the college are very early. The lectures start at 7 am in the morning and 75% Attendance is compulsory which is extremely difficult for students in a professional degree to manage with internships.

Admission:

I had applied for many colleges like symboises, Christ, I had also appeared for CLAT, which is the entrance test to get into the National Law University. I had qualified both symboises and Christ University exam. I was also offered a scholarship of 40% in Christ University but the reason I did not choose the same is because it was way to far away from my hometown. Being a resident of Haryana I was looking for a place which was well connected with my hometown and Bombay is one of them. Symbiosis was also a good choice to make but the fees was too high for the curriculum. On the other hand KES is the best choice I could have made and at no point have I regretted my decision to choose KES

The teaching staff is really good and approachable
The faculty is good as well, they help with your doubts and explain it clearly
The events in college are really great even for law students

Dislikes

Admission:

- I had applied for GLC but didn't got the admission there but I'm pretty happy about this college as well since it provides many opportunities like publishing articles of students on various platforms to give them spotlights. - The admission process was not that thought you just had to give the certificates and CET marks score

An honest review of Kes Law college

Likes

Faculties here in this college is very supportive and helpful
Teachers teach very well they really put into efforts in order to make the students understand everything
Every major function is celebrated very greatly

Dislikes

Lack of sport involvement for students in which they can participate
Comparatively very small campus of the college
Canteen is not upto the mark it could’ve been better

Admission:

As I said before the college takes initiative right from the 1st semester and that's very important for me .. I didn't get rejected from any colleges as I wanted only kes and I got kes with ease also the admission process is super duper ease the faculty helps you out in every way possible

There are few things I don't like about my college is that there is no canteen inside our college campus.

Admission:

From beginning i wanted Admission in New Law college which is located in Dadar but due to Travelling issue I chose Kes Law college which is located in Kandivali which is 45min away from my home. I had a lot about Kesa Law college from my cousin who was a passed out of Kes college

Mhcet entrance test was initiated before the admission process The eligibility criteria were passing percentage of 12th examination to enrol in kes law college All application form was online at the official college portal and every process was smooth and functional Reservation was gujrati minority quota No suggestion for improvement as everything was convenient

Remarks:

I got this college through the list from the entrance exam. That time the entrance exam was introduced for the first time i.e. MH-CET. The process was really lengthy and it took about 4-5 months to provide the college to the students. So to not to waste my year, I accepted this college and took interview. I chose this college over other colleges because of the course structure, the infrastructure of the college, fees value and also the timing of the classes. The college is like for only 3 hours in the morning so I could utilise my rest of the day for internship opportunities.

Kes college

Admission:

The college is quite near to the station,easy to travel, teaching staff is appropriate, attendance is compulsory. College timings are quite, students can intern and work along with with studying in college. It is good for students who have come from other states as it enables them to work and study at the same time.

Administration is BAD

Admission:

The admission was simple back then and was based on 12th percentage. Since the college was new very few people had applied and so there was no such thing as cut-off. I had to submit the zerox attested of 10th std marksheet. 10th std passing certificate. 12th marksheet. 12th leaving certificate. A D.D of around 15,000 which may have risen by now

Admission:

Food is horrible, Infrastructure is worst. Our Principal is really a nice lady and I believe such a respected Ma'am should be given proper cabin to work. It is trying to be good but there is no placement provided which is really bad.
