PDEA COE Placement Process

• The Training and Placement Cell is responsible for coordinating campus placement activities and maintaining industry relations throughout the year.
• The placement seasons usually will be from July-March and companies will be visiting the campus for placement drives and for off campus drives.
• The process of recruitment starts with pre-placement talks, which allow the company to introduce the job roles, selection methods, and growth opportunities to students.
• Students who are eligible for various jobs in the recruiting company will register their names for the placement drives and submit their resumes.
• Selection rounds usually include aptitude tests, group discussions, technical interviews, and HR interviews, as stated by the recruiting company.
• The Placement Cell assists the company, students and departments regarding logistics, scheduling interviews for students, and announcing results and job offers.
• Students are supported and guided towards internships and industrial training, as part of preparing for careers.
• In addition, the placement cell provides support in documentations, joining formalities, and any follow up post placement.
