The enviornment and the maintainance of the college.
The infrastructure and the classroom are well maintained and air conditioned
The professor are helpful when the student genuinely asks them
Dislikes
Not proper management for the entry of students
There is no transparency of grades and internal marks
Unnecessary charges are applied for even small things
Placement Experience:
Students are eligible for campus placements in 7th semester. The companies that come for recruitment asks for the high cgpa in college for applying for interview round. After getting the degree I would go for higher studies.
The campus is pretty and spacious. The labs are well equipped.
There are always new events and talks to look forward to.
Increased emphasis on undertaking research endeavours.
Dislikes
Lack of skilled faculty to do research under.
Placement process is not transparent here.
Mess food is not good sometimes with the roti being too dry.
Placement Experience:
From 4th semester onwards companies start visiting the campus for internship opportunities. From 6th semester there are various corporate connect programmes to get a sense of the companies that we can expect in placements. There are on campus placements in the 7th semester.
The faculty is quite experienced, good and supportive
The campus life is the best thing of the college. You will get all kinds of enjoyment here.
The infrastructure is excellent without any doubt.
Dislikes
There are too many students in one branch.
The whole college is overpriced which is a letdown.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course I chose was the best offered course over the university be it the cutoff wise or the quality of peers beside them the main reason was that I am really interested in cse and only wanted to take that so I chose this course. The first year will be all cooled out and chilled as the classmates would be of different branches all mixed up to learn the basic engineering concepts required to be called "engineers". From the second year onwards the students will be directed towards their domains and will begin to focus on the branch they have chosen. The faculty-to-student ratio is about 1:70 from what our batch has experienced. The teaching method is over the presentation mode that the profs have prepared earlier. The term exams were once every month and it was not at all difficult to pass.
Manipal provides great opportunities for campus placements with packages going as high as 24LPA.
The faculty provides guidance and support to the students. Students start seeking jobs in their third year.
I think around 70% of students get placed easily.
