MES's Institute of Management & Career Courses Pune Latest Updates and News

14 Nov, 2025 MAH MBA CET will now be conducted twice a year from 2026 onwards for MBA/MMS admission. The first session will be held in April 2026, followed by the second session in May 2026. For more details, check here.

IMCC offers various PG & PhD levels. Among which MCA has its flagship program, and the total tuition fee for the MCA is INR 2.39 Lakhs. THE IMCC total intake of MCA is 180. IMCC admission is based on the merit scores of students from the latest qualifying exam or course-level entrance tests that it accepts.

For MCA admission, Candidates must have a graduation degree with a minimum of 50% marks for the Open category and 45% for Reserved categories, along with a valid MAH MCA CET score. For MBA admission, candidates must have a graduation degree, and the selection criteria are based on the MAH MBA CET entrance exam. The merit list is published by the DTE.

Ques. What is the intake in the MBA at IMCC?

Ans. The intake in the MBA is 180 seats. For IIMC MBA Admissions, Candidates must have passed Graduation with a 50% Aggregate in all subjects. The selection criteria for admission are based on the MAH MBA CET score.

Ques. Does IMCC accept students for lateral entry admission with backlogs?

Ans. Candidates with back papers/ non-written papers will not be considered for lateral admission at IMCC. No Objection Certificate from the parent University / Institution is required at the time of joining if selected.

Ques. Can I apply for IMCC admissions if my results are not yet released?

Ans. Yes, for admissions to IMCC, even if your results are not yet released, you can register and apply for the entrance exams while waiting for your results, but candidates must meet the minimum eligibility criteria for the program. The institute may ask for your final results for verification later, but you can still be considered for admission initially.

Admission:

The students who are willing to take Practical Bcom, first need to clear the personal Interview round. The students will then be evaluated according to the percentage scored. When I gave the interview I was asked a lot more logical reasoning, and questions related to HOT's (higher order thinking skills), so clearing the first and second round itself was a tricky part for me.

Through entrance examination (CAT, XAT, NMAT). After you clear the cut-ff you will get a call letter for the next round. The next round includes PI and WAT. After the final calculation on all these criteria, a student is selected. So, basically, I was introduced to this course through one of my friends and I was also interested as this is a niche course that is becoming a trend in the world now. This is among the few of the colleges in India and across the globe which provides specialization on core sustainability.

Best college in Pune for MCA

Admission:

For admission in my college we should have bachelor degree and we have given the entrance exam for the admission in MCA. After that on the merit score you are able to take admission by DTE's Rounds. This process takes place in 4 different rounds.
