Education at peak in Srishti Manipal

Hostel Facilities:

Hostel facility is good, we have single, double, tripple sharing rooms according to the need AC / Non AC. We get good food in the hostel mess, purely higenic. There are 24/7 security and cleaning staff at the hostel. We have sports amenities like full round cricket ground, 3 basketball courts, 2 long tennis courts, 1 big football field, running tracks, gym, badminton court, indoor games etc. It is comfortable for travelling also as the hostel is in campus only. It takes just 1 min from hostel to reach college. We have several shops also at hostels like stationary or regular grocery kind of.

There are pgs around the srishti campus where students live. It's an amazing environment. The rooms are good and they provide all facilities including food, laundry, water, WiFi, security etc the average rent is around 18k a month

Entrance Preview

The hostel facilities are only for first year female students in campus. It was 3 sharing at that time with common bathroom area. The Mess food is decent with good hygiene standards. After first year students move out for PG options or flat sharing plenty available near the campus.

Campus Life:

Many events keep happening through student-run clubs as well as college-hosted events during festivals. The library is well stocked with various categories of books and journals. All basic facilities are provided, good quality too. Extracurricular activities are mandatory. Students can join multiple clubs and activities.

there are a lot fests organised by Manipal now that we are a part of them, but srishti's events are managed by student led clubs. there are about five to six events per year and some of them are paid depending on the size of the event and the area in which it is taking place. there are quite a few clubs that are very active in srishti, two of the biggest being scatter one and mujo, which are the dance and event management clubs respectively. both of these clubs are quite demanding and require a lot of time from students. students that are part of these clubs usually have social circles within them. on campus there is a football ground, a basketball court, a tennis court, and a running track. all these are free for all to use. the gym and other amenities can only be used by those with a membership which students have to pay extra for. the institution partners with CSE which is close by for extracurricular activities. students can pick extracurricular activities such as swimming etc

Fresher's introduction to Srishti Manipal

Fests and exhibitions are held year round with the student body run fest 'mujo' inviting artists to perform from across the country and giving a chance to the institutions own artists to perform in front of a huge crowd to test their ability. State of the art libraries, studios and equipments you could ever possibly need. From sound and foley studios to animation and green screen labs. We have it all. Campus has some of the best sports facilities you will see. A professional athlete will have nothing to complain about with the on campus gyms, multiple sports facilities and access to professional coaches from Centre of sports excellence.

Student Snaps:

Hostel is too strict. Biometric attendance is conducted everyday and randomly rooms are checked. Bags are checked everytime you enter. Food items like maggi and raw eggs are also banned along with electric appliances. The process pf taking a leave is lengthy and exhausting. Laundry is compulsory and they delay returning your clothes. Hostel is clean and luxury though. Meals are good and edible. Wardens are friendly and you will be respected.

Just read it and you'll know!

Due to covid till now I've only attended MUJO which was organized by Srishti students, it had stalls which sold things made by the students like crochet stuff, tye-dye, stickers and illustrations, badges, etc., live performances by the members of Srishti drama and dance clubs and other students as well. I haven't had a chance to visit the library myself but I've heard it's big and on the new campus, even bigger. For sports, we have the Padukone-Dravid Centre for Sports Excellence (CSE). We have this twice a week, we can choose any sport we want, be it football, tennis, cricket, yoga, basketball, etc. For extracurricular, we also have language and music classes. Sports/ music/ language also holds 2 credits so it's not an option. The campus life is truly amazing even though we haven't had the full experience because of covid. The interaction with facilitators and students is amazing, the work environment, some of the classrooms don't even have doors.

A small info about our college

Kalanubhava fest and Srushti raasa was the big fest in our college it was inter college fest. I can take books fm library Class room are small but it was neat and also bench are really good. So many club activity are their we conduct cultural week also sports day, ethnic day etc.

The PG situation is really bad as the guys PGs are generally bad but to fool the customers they put the pictures of girls PG rooms. Guys are charged less compared to Girls as the rooms are not that great but nevertheless it's a lot of money as the food given is not up to the mark as well.
