Likes

The infrastructure of the college is renewed
The college has the latest machines provided
College is present in the city which helps students for easy access of their required items

Dislikes

The dental supplies are purchased by students themselves
The fees are quite high for every student
Transportation can be more regularly provided

Admission:

Since there are many colleges in mangalore it was a tough decision and I had to do research over all of them to decide my college I found my college better since it was present in the city and had a pretty campus

My life and review

Likes

The campus is broad and good as it is needed to be .
Some lectures are good they teach is possible good ways
Cultural program and some festivals are celebrated every year.

Dislikes

There is nowadays lots of sound everyday.
Some classroom don't have seats which are comfortable to be
Even stipend in intern is less compared to course .

Admission:

I actually was just applied to only 2 college in Mangalore and I had got seat for other courses where I was just hopping of getting in this only dental then i got seat confirmed in this college. Every year there is different cutoffs with category based on it.

Life ON and IN Campus

Likes

The campus is big and with lot of patient inflow
Hostel Life is not so great but the rooms provided is spacious
Temples near hospital giving us serenity

Dislikes

The food is worst which is non palpable leading to food poisoning every 2 months
The hostel rooms are never cleaned until we ask them to even mess is unhygienic yet they ask us to follow rules of sitting in the mess
The faculty here is fully partial to there district kids based on language and castes

Admission:

I applied for various other colleges which was near and places we know of , so I ended up at this college without much choice . I had applied to father mullers but didn't receive any response. If you come under Tulu quota then you reservation seat hereand mostly ppl from here join this clg

The faculty in our college are highly educated and experienced with degree in bds and mds in their specific fields
The college has very good infrastructure which was recently renewed
The college provides with latest technology

Dislikes

The yearly fees are quite expensive for a student
The college does not supply basic dental equipments
The patient flow is less compared to other colleges so it can be tough to complete our quota

There are many dental colleges in mangalore hence I had researched them all before joining. My first option was AJ institute as it had a great campus environment and was placed in the heart of the city.

Life in AJIDS

Likes

The infrastructure is good and is newly renovated along with new dental chairs and equipments ,
Provides a library with various books to study along with a digital library
Provides various other facilities like a football ground gym and a badminton court

Dislikes

Very less patient flow in various departments which makes it hard to complete the student quotas
Faculty not very indulged in what you learn and how you perform you need to be self dependent and rely on your own
The quotas to be completed are very high and stressful as compared to the patient flow

Admission:

Firstly I took this college as it comes under the RAGIV GANDHI UNIVERSITY OF HEALTH SCIENCE ( RGUHS) which is a well known university and is recognised worldwide, the exams are quite competitive compared to other collages which makes the degree more valuable., the admission process is quite simple , firstly you need to clear the Neet exam and apply online for the colleges you wanna join , once u get the seat u come and complete ur paper work . There are also various agents who help you to complete ur admission process providing them with commissions

Admission:

We have to attend NEET exam conducted by CBSE and apply in KEA(Karnataka examination authority) along with our NEET score which is followed by KEA verification. KEA verification includes our 10th, +2 certificate validation and finally allotment. Allotment is in following stages:first allotment, second allotment and finally spot admission.

A college that me feel like home.

Admission:

It was due to my neet ranking. My neet ranking was bad it took a really long time. And i am glad that i chose this college. The admission process is very long, that is, it includes 2 rounds, first round for good rank, second round for the other students.

Well spent time of my life.

Admission:

The college is good and there are constant improvements going on . The patients have increased considerably in the recent years providing good practice to students. The stipend however needs to be increased according to the current standards.
