A legacy of learning -Exploring PES UNIVERSITY

Likes

The college is huge their are different departments and in the front we have the pes hospital and also the labs well equipped instruments
They provide personalized mentorship for each student which is effective way for the guidance and support provided by the teachers
Their are fest every year in which students can take part and many cultural and co curricular activities

Dislikes

Placements for pharmacy student can be improved
The college should provide internship opportunities
Pharmacy students should get a industrial exposure , industry visit time to time

I chose this college over others before getting the admission I researched about the college and the college was established in 1982. I decided to take Admission in this college because it offered everything which I was looking for and supported to my academic and career. Applied for Ms ramaiah college too but as it was too late. the registration were closed because of which I didn't get into ramaiah Their are two exams for pes students Pessat and cet exam CET exam is most preferred it's for Karnataka students scholarship based exam and from which if you score well and get selected then fees is deducted

PES College of pharmacy - Student review

Likes

Campus Life along with the fests and the canteen facilities
Classroom and the ambience provided. There are smart boards and wifi in class

Dislikes

Lack of proper faculties only for the 1st year.

Admission:

Anyone who passed 12th standard with PCB/M is eligble for pharmacy. Application forms is available in the PES website along with the official KCET website. Reservation details are available in the respective websites. I personally took admission through general merit. The frequency of the entrance exams are once every year. Admission process can be improved by increasing marketing for the course and better communication.

The college is just amazing

Admission:

Admission process is very quick First u need to register i online mode bybpaying a fee amount of 500 Then u need to visit college and fill the application jn online mode only And should pay the half of the fee to block the seat And the admission process is done for us without any enterence examdue to covid

PES Pharmacy reality

Admission:

The admission process was quite easy, with nothing much to be worried about, however, I don't know about the KCET exam procedure. The college infrastructure isn't very great, the classrooms are good enough but the labs aren't well maintained. Currently, there is refurbishing going on, looking forward to betterment. The senior lecturers are great but the junior lecturers need time to adjust to the students. The lab attendees are friendly enough to help out. The Dean is really friendly and understands the problems of students and takes quick action towards the problem. The library is filled with enough books and has a good system of issuing books to students, delay in returning the books will attract a fine of INR 1 per day. The college overall is maintained well, clean and good, the benches in the classroom and the classroom overall could have been maintained a bit better. Each classroom has its own TV that helps the teachers run through slides and teach better. The parking is chargeable INR 8 per day.

I'm interested to do research in research and development. So I opted for this course. I got seat through Govt quota. PES is among top 10 pharmacy institutions of Karnataka. Hence listed top during option entry. Our college is having all pharmacy courses. Option entry through CET was during June and July. My admission took on 24th July 2017. Academic year was started from August

I got admission through Management for the students who have attended entrance and got a good score they will get admission in the college and also for management seat they are conducting entrance exam

College discription

Admission:

I got the seat through government quota by KCET. After qualifying in KCET there will be counseling process where we have to select the college I kept this college along with other 10 colleges and I got pes college and in the counseling, after that, there is a college fee payment and verification and I completed that and thus I am into this college.
