Placements are a little bit low. There will be IT firms such as TCS, HCL, QBurst, etc which will be willing to take students from the college. For Mechanical Engineering Department, it is very low and it needs to address.
I selected this college because I got this college through merit quota - by writing entrance exam. I had also got Thejus Engineering, Thrissur; But i choose MES College of Engineering, Kuttippuram which was my 3rd allotted college. Good aspect of my college is, you get a college life with hostel and very big campus.
From the sixth semester onwards, all students can apply for college placements.
Companies like TCS, Infosys, Q burst are coming to the college as placements.
Some companies provide 4 lakh per annum for freshers.
They are select students according to the basis of backlogs, CGPA(CGPA greater than 6).
I am trying to getting a job n campus placements.
Kerala's first private college. One of the few colleges in Kerala where my course - Applied Electronics and Engineering was available. Admission process was through Kerala Entrance exam. One of the oldest colleges in Kerala. Vast infrastructure is one of the major plus points of the college.
Students get placement offers from sixth semester onwards. There are many good companies coming for hiring students such as TCS. Many of the students get placed at or before the seventh semester. My plan after graduation is post-graduation.
Best atmosphere to study. Its scenic beauty. Best faculty. I like electronics and communication so i opted that course. Its situated near to the river Bharathapuzha. It is the first self financing college in kerala.
Good academic facilities along with rich tradition of making technically and strong graduates. It was the first self financing college in kerala as well.
MES was known for respectable amount of placements in reputed MNCs at that point of time.
