Is it easy to get admission to MES College of Engineering (MESCE)?

MESCE accepts admissions based on National and State Level Entrance Exams. Admission to major engineering and architecture courses is based on KEAM and management courses are based on KMAT, both conducted by the Government of Kerala.National Level Exams such as JEE Main are accepted for B.Tech courses, NATA is accepted for B.Arch and M.Arch courses, while CMAT & CAT are accepted for MBA admissions. The life of an Engineering student in MES Community

Likes

Good atmoshpere compared to other self finance colleges in kerala
Teaching and staff is good and are experienced teachers.
The college has a good and beautiful infrastructure

Dislikes

MES Management is very strict and does not allow you to full experience college life
The programs conducted in the college is very less near to nil
College in 2010s and 2020s have a great difference in every aspects

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are provided by the college and there is a placement cell for the placements work in the campus. A lot of companies visit our college like IBM,SouthIndian Bank etc We can be eligible for the placements from 5 the semester onwards if without any backpapers

there is an iot lab under kerala startup mission
the campus offers different organisations like iedc, nss, ieee etc
there is fablab which provides courses in 3d printing, vinyl cutting etc

Dislikes

extra curricular activities are very less
does not prioritize sports activities even though we have a huge football ground and necessary facilites

The placements are subpar as the companies visiting is lesser compared to other government colleges but the college does provide placement support and does their best in trying to bring the companies over. The connections we build through put our course

Dislikes

Poor infrastructure and other facilities are done only to a bare minimum
Lack of experienced teachers for the specific subjects.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum looks pleasing but just like any course it has its pros and cons. The curriculum is enough for preparing us for architecture life but its so closely packed that its hard for average students to catch up. There are two semesters a year and two internal and one external exam for each semester

Course Curriculum Overview:

The design subject which is the most important one in the curriculum helps us gradually grow our perspective on architecture. The scale of the projects becomes larger every semester and each semester has a important aspect we need to include in our design ( contour site, universal accessibility etc). The 4th yr has an internship that every student is required to complete that actually prepares us for the real world application of what we learnt in the past 3 years of our course.

My college offers a vibrant community with diverse backgrounds and interests , fostering a sense of belonging.
Ideal location offering both peaceful study environments and access to urban amenities
Great wifi all over the campus helps in students’s works.

Dislikes

There’s few number of programs or events in the college since recent years. They need to focus more on these too as college life is one of the most important in a person’s life.
Courses lack practical experiences as compared to other colleges i believe. Few number of IVs etc..
The campus have old amenities and should pay attention to it

Ive always liked this course seeing my cousins. It was mostly all for the travelling and exploring architectural masterpieces. Our college takes 2 internal exams per semester which are of medium difficulty level. Structural subjects are hard.

I think they are giving good amount of students placement from the campus
There is proper library and students can access the library any time when they open
Proper parents meeting are conducted by the management

Dislikes

The faculties are less in my department and they are not experienced in that field also
Lack of programs are conducted by the college management
For getting any service from office there are so many permission to get

Placement Experience:

I don't know much about the placement process but I can see and hear that they give good amount of students placement from the campus and with normal salary package around 15000 -25000 . There are so many senior they get placement from campus

MES : the college of Engineering

The College atmosphere is really great. Students are lively and the there are places for students to gather around sit and talk. The college has a canteen and 2 other places we could get snacks from.
There are various club activies and programs. Tbey are various social clubs like Nss, iedc to participate in. and also there are many different programs Most include DJ's and etc.
The faculty and lab and classroom facilities are exceptional. The professors are really good and the facilities given to us are top quality.

Dislikes

Placement Experience:

Placements are provided to almost every student with no back papers and sufficient skill set. Many programs and opportunities are prpvided by the college for placements. many companies like Tata, IBM, qburst, mahindra come for placements in our college. there are also various people who pursue higher studies and entrepreneurship.

Such an awesome architecture of MES college of enginnering
Canteen food was really good and have food at all times
Proficient faculties and facilities available for each and every student

Class timing was about from 8:45 to 4:45

Exams are very big factor of btech life. Every exams were easy and made easy through frequent training and experiments. Internal exams are happened every week and will make each and every students ready to face the exams.

Architecture is fun and hard

Likes

The ambience is so good…wide area space to hang out
Classrooms are so spacious and the works can be done easily
Friends being too good which makes us go to the college daily

Dislikes

Faculties sometimes gives us hard time where we cant finish the works
The work load is huge where we cant handle the pressure
Even on holidays or leave days we can be expected with work

Placement Experience:

Our college does provide with placements for every courses except b.arch which is also kind of hard ...but at the end we can easily end up with a job amywhere with goot salary figure...most of the students here is planning on getting into a good firm after the degree
