Hostel Facilities:

Hostel facilities are very good compared to other hostels we get delicious foods and menu changes every month we get to eat different dishes in a week there are 3 days of non veg of chicken and another 3 days fish and egg quality is super there are many 7.blocks of hostel i stay in 3rd block which is public washrooms our hostel is main hostel and there are other 2 block (6 and 7) which is pg hostel for first year students

I stayed in hostel .There are 2 hostels each for girls and boys.The quality of accomodation and food is good for the price.There are few PG around the college.The College has hostel office to ask and register for hostel facilities

My Overall Review

There are multiple blocks of Hostel . Block 1 is the best block with lost of facilities and large rooms . I stay in block 1 . 2 people shared room , 2 fans , attached bathroom with exhaust , hot water , drinking water ,Solar works sometimes . Meal is Pretty mediocre . Its Coupon system . We have Non-verg(Chicken) 4 days a week and rest of the days Fish .

All essential facilities like wifi, washing machine (if hostel) are provided.
Hostel Mess: Breakfast, Lunch, Snacks and Dinner are actually very good compared to other colleges. Makes you want to eat it and chicken,fish and egg, milk(only first year) is available.

The room has very basic facilities. It has 2 beds, 2 chairs, 2 study tables, 2 tubelights, 1-2 fan depends on your choice (paid), an attached bathroom if you choose it (paid) and an air conditioner if you pay for it. The washroom is very clean and well maintained. It has a western toilet along with a showerhead and jetspray. Theres a mirror in the washroom and a wash basin. It is very well maintained, you can call the hostel staff for cleaning the room and they'll do it happily. The morning breakfast varies day by day, it can be idli-vada, masala dosa, sewige uppit, tomato bhath, chole bhature, bread-jam with cornflakes and mung bean sprouts, along with tea and coffee(daily) The lunch is usually basic white rice ,boiled ,rice ,sambar, dal ,vegetable sabzi, papad daily along with egg(if chosen) and curd. Snacks are usually good and can be anything from the choices, golibaje, vadapav, pav bhaji, pastry, biscuits, egg puff, veg puff, cream bun, vegetable podi, chattamabade, buns etc. Dinners are usually decent but not great. It's very heavy and it ranges from panneer dishes, mushroom dishes, rice, rasam, dal, chicken dishes(if chosen), chapati, parota, butter milk. There are various pgs available too like kateeleshwari and foodland pg, but i preferred staying in hostel

For first year people there Is only two options 2 sharing or 3 sharing both are different blocks most of the people will take 2 sharing which is block 7 I am also in that only which is only for first year people.there are two mess north and south

The college is very eco-friendly . The college area and also the hostel area is planted with many trees.As it is located in Udupi district in Karnataka the weather is also great hear.

Hostel is just of walking distance from the college . The availably is 2 sharing with an attached bathroom ( AC and non AC) . 1,16,000 for non AC and 1,45,000 for AC room . And 3 bedroom with common bathroom which is very neat and tidy ( non AC) . Maintenance is done in alternative days . They sweep and clean the bathroom . The food is really good they give two options such as South Indian and North Indian . I prefer South Indian . They serve curd and egg everyday . Ice creams on special occasions . Chicken and fish is also available if people prefer non veg . The registration process is done during the admission process itself .

The hostel food could use some improvement.

The hostel facility at NMAMIT udupi, offers a comfortable living environment for students. The rooms are shared, providing a communal atmosphere that fosters friendships and collaboration. The rooms have beds, study table and chairs, wardrobes and internet connectivity. The quality of meals in hostel varies quite a bit, some dishes are well-received by students whole others may need improvement. There are 2 mess's, namely south mess and north mess. Both the mess menu's include mix of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. The registration process for hostel accomodation is very straightforward, students need to apply during the admission process and rooms are allocated based on availability in the main or pg hostel. The hostel fees are quite affordable as compared to other private accomodations.

Also the campus is vast with small canteens over some place.

And other thing is distance of our main ground from our hostel which is way too far
There is not much I dislike If there that would be distance of our college from hostel

I have joined triple sharing hostel which cost 71400 among that rent is 30000 and mess fees is 26000 per semester and the food quality is great there is both veg and non veg daily and Ice cream one a week. Outlr room is provided with a bed, study table ,fan and a cupboard.

Hostel facility is very good. The admission process is very easy. rooms are really good. students can opt for two sharing or three sharing, attached or non. hostel mess provides 4 meals a day with a very good menu which changes every month. there is option for veg and non-veg also option for north or south indian mess.

The hostel is inside the college campus around 100m.We can easily be in the hostel.The hostel is very clean and the rooms are well equipped.The food are the best bcz u will have the variety of dishes every day.
