6th semester CGPA is most probably to be considered for your placement and internship. If you have a good CGPA in 6th semester and overall a nice percentage in 3rd year overall, you will not face difficulty in placements. But you also have required skill set as per the company's requirements. Most of the companies select candidate who have gained a minimum of 60% in their course. Some highly recognized companies also increase their range and select students who have at least 70% marks in course.

Maximum 100% students will get placement minimum 95% students will get placement.
