Admission to the college is secured by passing the GATE exam, followed by the state-specific PGCET exam. Seat allocation is based on GATE rankings and candidate preferences. The faculty are highly experienced, with at least 15 years in their field. Fees vary by study branch, with aided courses having lower fees, making them generally affordable.
Placements start in the final year, with numerous companies providing job offers, although opportunities in mechanical and civil branches are limited. While the college doesn't offer internships currently, the new curriculum includes mandatory internships with stipends up to 35,000 INR, including positions in PSUs. Two scholarships are available for postgraduates: the GATE scholarship from AICTE, valid for two years, and the TEQIP scholarship, awarded annually based on academic performance.
