Some of the faculty members are more approachable.The way of teaching is nice .you can ask doughts during class.exam include simple and tough questions which is computer generated questions .The fail and pass is based on how students approach questions.

faculty to student relationship are kindly not approachable exams are quite tough and in our class majority students failed course curriculum should be more relevant and include more practical experiments and exposure

Teachers are really good at teaching & the way they convey each & every details. Even hard topics will be too easy by the way they teach. Daffini Ma'am have a good way of teaching with examples & little stories. But, overall everyone can handle tough topics. We have lot to study & the exams will be in a rush. We only have 1 day as a study after each exam. But, we will get 1 week before the exam starts as well. If we study the topics clearly, it'll be a good to go exam. But, the modules are like about 8 or 9, it contains lots of topics. So, the exams will be sometimes are tough.

Faculty members are educated and all in the biotech department. But they are not that understanding. They give stress. Lacking guidance on the things we don't know about. This two year postgraduate programme focuses on the advanced knowledge of the application of biotechnology in various fields like agriculture, healthcare, industry etc. Biotechnology utilizes biological systems, living organisms or its parts to develop or create different products and it also grabs new possibility to make changes in the organisms’ genetic material (DNA). The curriculum is a mixture of both theoretical and practical sessions that helps students learn the implementation of the subject. To encourage formation of research aptitude in students, a research project is included in the curriculum. Course structure - 35k rs per sem Calicut University conducts exams. There's two internal exams per sem and lab exam in the second sem (including first's) Grading system is based on weightage and not marks A+ 5 points A 4points B+ 3 points C 2 points D 1 point

Our faculty members are very supportive and encouraging members. I like rajagopal sir because sir help very well every situation and understand our situation.I have 4 semester and 4 exams, 1 semester exam completed.

Faculties are good and highly experienced. We can approach them for anything. Exams will done regularly. The sem exam wulill be difficulty for sometimes. Semester exam and Internal exam are the main exam during each semester. There will be two interal exams . Almost students will qualify the sem exam but some students will fail in 1 or 2 subjects.

In Msc biotechnology currently 3 proffesers are teaching. The faculties are so Good, and they provide proper guidence and support. In first semester there is 3 subjectsm littile bit difficult but through proper support and study we can approch the exams.

The faculties here are the best ones. They provide a great class. They are very talented and trained. All faculties in biotechnology department is excellent. Dr. Naijil joseph is the head of department. He is the best faculty you will ever have. Faculties are very supportive. For exams, semester wise there are 2 internal exams. The best score out of these will be calculated for internal marks. And the semester exam comes in every 6 months. The college provides an academic calender and follow it to provide exams up to date.

Faculties are very company with students I like anju miss in maths department she is very comfortable and very good we feel like her as a mother There are 2 internal exams in each sem and it is ok ok exams .easy to pass and failures are less

The faculty is well educated and experienced members. I chose this solely cause of my interest in the subject. The faculty ans staff are well experienced and educated with very good field experience. But sometimes the student concerns are not taken into consideration.
