SDE UOC Placement 2026: Highest Package, Average Package, Top Recruiters

Calicut University has an active placement cell that facilitates recruitment processes, although the actual placement opportunities for students, particularly those in distance education, are limited. Major companies such as HDFC Bank, SBI, Hedge Equities, CSB, Amazon, Infosys, IBM, WIPRO, and Oracle participate in campus recruitment. Approximately 65% of students secure placements, with the highest package being 3 LPA and the average package at 2.4 LPA.

Recruitment is primarily based on interview performance (80%) and academic records (20%). The university provides support by sharing job openings and organizing recruitment drives, but students often need to find internships independently. Faculty assist students with resume building and interview preparation. Despite some opportunities, there is room for improvement in placement and internship offerings, especially for distance education students.
