The college provides financial aid to meritorious and economically weaker students. There are also government scholarships for SC/ST/OBC and Minority category students.

60% of the seats in postgraduate are reserved for CU students and the rest 40% are reserved for students from the non-CU background.

Is there any special course for weaker students?

Yes, there are remedial courses provided beyond regular college hours for students with weaker academic performance. The campus is kept under strict CCTV guidance at all times to maintain the moral code of conduct. Several newly installed smart classrooms are also available.

Course Details

Behala College offers regular postgraduate programs in the disciplines of Arts and Science. The college offers MA degree programs with specializations in Bengali and History. Subjects offered under the M.Sc. program include Chemistry and Mathematics. The basic eligibility criteria for admission to these programs is graduation in the relevant discipline with minimum 50% aggregate marks. Candidates are selected on the basis of their performance in the entrance exam conducted by the institute.

Only online applications are accepted by Behala College for admission to PG courses. The application form can be accessed by visiting the institute website behalacollege.in. The application fee can be paid via bank challan, copies of which are generated after successful submission of the online application form. It is mandatory for candidates applying under open category to appear for the institute level entrance exam.

SC/ST candidates require to secure a minimum of 40% aggregate marks in graduation in order to be eligible for PG programs offered by Behala College.
60% of total seats will be earmarked for C.U. students only. The remaining 40% seats are open to both C.U. and non-C.U. candidates.
Candidates can also apply for direct admission to MA programs subject to availability of vacant seats.

there are some scholarship status of Earth from our college which year Vivekananda scholarship for minors students Indira Gandhi single child scholarship for the single girl child in a family these are all for the MSc program and for BSC program there are certain scholarships like inspire scholarship and some UGC scholarships are there also.
