WCC Gallery

There are 2 main fests in WCC, one is Festeve which is an intercollegiate event and it is usually held in February and the other is BattleFest which is an inter-departmental event and it takes place around september. there's also a sports day in march and Food Fest in august. Apart from that there will be departmental and club events happening every now and then. there are many books in the library and with the student ID card any book can be borrowed. each classroom will have a board and a projector. there are many clubs like photography, drama, classical singing, western dance, english L&D, Tamil L&D and many more there are other clubs like the innovation cell where students with business ideas come together and make it happen, there are also NCC, Rotract, NSS, Young Indian,Eco club to promote the service nature of the students.

We have several events like Alumnae Food Fair , Mt. Holyoke Fest ( Interdepartment culturals) ,Sports Day and Festeve (Intercollegiate culturals). The months varies. WCC Library is one of the well sourced libraries in Chennai. It is a goldmine of information and is constantly updated. There are projectors, Computers and Lab facilities (for science students). WCC takes sports seriously. There are several college teams like Basketball, Football, Cricket etc. Other extracurriculars like chess is also offered. There are several student run clubs in WCC like Art Club, Drama Club, Western Dance club etc. Extracurriculars are highly encouraged and it has a positive impact on the students.

I was not very interested in the extra-curricular activities at college but there were various club activites like music club, dance club, literary club, college choir. There were events like "Food Fest", "College play", "Festeve" (inter-college cultural program) and departmental cultural programs. The library was vast and had 3 floors of books and study rooms. There were sports activities like basketball, volleyball to name a few.

The main inter-college event of Women's Christian Colleg is called "FESTEVE" We usually conduct it during the month of February and the inter-department cultural is called "MT.HOLYOKE FEST" Both these fests are amazing and fun-filled. We are also allowed to participate In other r college events and festivities with the permission of our head of the departments or dean. Apart from this each department of the college also has a separate cultural event in which all the others can register and participate There is also a large library in the college which gives us access to a large number of study material books as well as language, novel and comic books as well, it is well air-conditioned with plenty of seating. We also request you to complete 40 hours of physical education through the sports department of the college to earn credits within the first year of college, the games like badminton, carrom, throw ball etc are also available if u are interested they will train you in them. Numerous language clubs and clubs for singing and dancing is also available for the interested student .

At first they senior dramuda programs and after they put junior /freshers dramuda programs and after they celebrate mt holyoke fest which is celebrated well because some celebrity also come for the program im a sports person sports are good

So many festivals are there in my college batel festivals and Pongal festival and farewell celebration and so many festivals in my college days in a year so many festivals are there The library is a peaceful and clean palce in my best of my college days all books are available in the library Many sports are there Silambam, cricket , tennis , zumba, yoga and so many spots and so many facility for students I am also in a NCC group members it's not at all affected any student

NoThe reality is there is no campus life. The only club which is actually active is dance club all other clubs are just namesake.Boys are not even allowed to participate in culturals. Other women institutions like Stella Maris and mop allows boys inter college events. The books collection is average but the librarian will make ur experience hell so better to borrow the books.books are also in very bad condition. Infrastructure is another headache with construction happening all over the campus... It's basically like a accident prone zone.

In our college there is no sports for pg students I love the campus but it's very strict we can't use mobile phone inside the campus and we are not suppose to for studying purpose also they are very strict and campus is quite good

The Anual festival is festive it will be for 3 days we will have so much fun and enjoyment we have wide collection of book in our resource center and E access too which will be helpful for us and sports we have achieve phenomenal success in sport in all state and national level we have dance club, debate club, and social club NSS, NCC, Rotract etc

We have many departments events the main festeve is mount holy hoke festive which propably happens in january month and we have many other departments and club events. Sports and extra curricular activities offered in campus is extraordinary and they give goos training in the campus
